jackie wrote and recored this originally in nov.1963. it didn't do much with its heavy orcastra sound.in 1964 the beatles george harrison recieved the first rickenbacker 360 electric 12 string guitar during the sullivann show visit.he popularized it on the hard days night LP.the searchers influenced by harrison's sound used it to record jackie's song and got a hit. jackie on tour with the beatles in august re-recorded it in sept.64 with the 12 string guitar intro,and issued it agian.
