I have about 2 big crater scars in one of my cheeks and a few ice pick scars at the sides of my forehead. What's the average price of one of these treatments?
hello there i do use dermaroller. i done it by hardrolling but the fact is it leave some checkred lines on my forehead. is it normal?how many days till it subside thanks
@omarlaylayoussef i did fraxel and i had amazing results. but it didn't get all of my scars- i have to fill in and cover up the deeper ones with a new product called dermaflage. it is expensive and a little tricky to learn but it is worth it. my skin looks perfect now but i would still like to find a way to "fix" those last scars.

You can do the laser resurfacing treatment or surgery If you can afford It but I highly recommend you(people with acne scars like me) to try a treatment called ''dermarolling'' It's quite painful BUT It's not as expensive as the other treatment I stated earlier.

Like a few other people here, I have red scars where the acne used to be. I don't seem to get very deep crater scars (just slightly sunk in), the redness is actually the bigger problem.

I remember about a year ago I tried Milk and Sugar as a face wash and within a couple weeks I cured all the discolored scars, small indents and managed to remove most of the 'ice pick' scars I had, or at least made them no where as deep. Ever since trying that method I break out a lot less too but I haven't seemed to be able to find any info on how the ingredients actually helped my skin.

I HAVE REDDISH PURPLISH ACNE SCARS.. from me picking my pimples... i guess its my nervous habit... lso when they get puffy they feel like they are ready to pop and i try not to but constantly find myself picking... Retin A Micro is another way to treat scars. My derm says so anyways...I have used it to get my acne under control. It has done just that. The hyperpigmentation has been fading and it actually created some small indentations that hopefully will fill in with the Retin A.

@sara2618 It depends upon whether they are depressed or raised. If depressed, then this video is appropriate. If raised, then they are treated with injections of cortisone to flatten them.

what about bump scars? cause i have scars on y shoulders that are bump.. they look like cyst but they are never going away and they done hurt.. i could get a knife and stab it and it wouldn't hurt? what do i do for it?

Like a few other people here, I have red scars where the acne used to be. I don't seem to get very deep crater scars (just slightly sunk in), the redness is actually the bigger problem.
I have read that the redness goes away by itself, is that true?
I have had it for about 10 month and it has calmed down to some extent but it hasn't gone away.

I remember about a year ago I tried Milk and Sugar as a face wash and within a couple weeks I cured all the discolored scars, small indents and managed to remove most of the 'ice pick' scars I had, or at least made them no where as deep. Ever since trying that method I break out a lot less too but I haven't seemed to be able to find any info on how the ingredients actually helped my skin.

hello doctor... I have pimple marks on my back, it completely covers my back and is destroying me completely... i took roaccutane a couple of years ago, there was an improvement but then i had breakouts again, so the doctor gave me roaccutane again, after i was done with that he said he couldnt give me more, but after i went to another doctor he suggested to try again and to start with a high dosage.. my blood tests were fine but im worried that it will do some damage, no one i know was under that treatment for so many times, do you have a better idea- i dont think its going to help me much..

I have a question doctor. I have very very oily acne-prone skin. My general doctor prescrived me a 3% erithromycin and 5% benzoyl peroxide gel and also 6% Salcilic acid lotion (which does contain minerl oil as a base and I believe may be clogging my pores. I've had acne for many years and recently it's gotten even worse though I've gotten older. Are there any other treatments that are safe?

I HAVE REDDISH PURPLISH ACNE SCARS.. from me picking my pimples... i guess its my nervous habit... lso when they get puffy they feel like they are ready to pop and i try not to but constantly find myself picking... I only have one "ity bity hole" the rest are discoloration.. what do you reccomend i am 24 and have never seen a dermatologist however I have paid lots of money for over the counter products and lately bought a clairasonic mia which has helped quite a bit mstly on one side of my face.

u dnt really have to go for such big procedures......just exfoliate ur skin with a mild exfoliator on daily basis n apply a moisturiser/ whitening cream with contain LICORICE ....ths will permanently heal them and remove ur scars in a month...and its not costly....drinking green tea also helps as it is full of antioxidents which are gud for skin...last bt nt least a daily dose a vitamin c tablet does wonders for skin!!!

hi i had acne since i was 13 and now i am 22 but after useing Obagi for months and months thank god my acne stoped and my skin cleared but one night as i was sleeping the obagi burned my right cheek right bellow my eyes. for months i was very depressed and didnt go out but i didnt give up i continue to use since i knw it can do miracles it improved the burned area but i have round face and big cheeks Now one side of my cheek has less proportion. Hey Docc, i have really terrible acne problems i believe i started breaking out in 4th grade.Its TERRIBLE.Now 4 years after,i hardly get pimples or zits but,what i do have is black heads and lots, huge pores & scars(brown spots).
My skin is irritated & dry from all the products ive put on my face to try to get rid of this gunk over the years.It has these stages where itll be really great then it gets bad out of the no where.I just dont know what do do anymore so many problems to tackle HELP!

I just want to have your opinion on Accutane and wether I should use it or not, given its long list of side effects, and once I am done with acne, should I do chemical peel or laser or what, and is it really a realistic aim to have nearly 100% clear skin, with no redness?

Retin A Micro is another way to treat scars. My derm says so anyways...I have used it to get my acne under control. It has done just that. The hyperpigmentation has been fading and it actually created some small indentations that hopefully will fill in with the Retin A.

Hi doctor, I am almost 15 and I have a bunch if acne on my forehead. I know that I will have scarring, I can even feel some of it already, but I'm pretty sure most of them will be crater scars. Will any treatments COMPLETELY erase scars? From what I can feel, they're not too deep, except for like two, I'm mostly just concerned with the more shallow ones though because there is more of them. What about white colored acne scars, my arms/chest are covered in them as I used to break out as a teen very heavily, now I don't break out as much on those areas and I am looking for a solution/procedure that will help fade them, etc.

@sara2618 It depends upon whether they are depressed or raised. If depressed, then this video is appropriate. If raised, then they are treated with injections of cortisone to flatten them.
