What a remarkable little soul. Although its been nearly a year, pass my condolences on to the Captain.

What an amazing bird - was she a wild bird that you started feeding, or was she raised in captivity?

Aloha! Her parents kicked her out of the nest way too early. We rescued her and thought she'd die but didn't. She bonded with us and stayed. She flew free during the day - although not far from our sailboat. She'd come in at night and go into her cage to sleep. I've dealt with a great number of animals and birds and have never known any little creature that was more human in all ways. Thank you for coming by fc! Jen
