hey grant how are you? youtube had removed my video "the courage and strugge of the vietnamese people". I don't think my video had violated anything did it? why are they censoring my video?
Worst part is that it's still relevant -- we have learned nothing. And most people here in the US just don't even care. So so so so so so sad!!! There are too many people suffering.... still. *tear*
This is from the "documentary" "Hearts and Minds." When the leftists running the 1974 Oscars gave it the award for best documentary, the Communists were only weeks away from conquering and enslaving all of South Vietnam. Producer Bert Schneider in his acceptance speech said that Vietnam was on the verge of being "liberated" and that he received a letter of thanks from North Vietnam to those in Hollywood who helped in the Commmunist conquest. In other words, this of course was Red propaganda.
you see only one side of the real story. Bomber missed target all the time. War is cruel; Have you seen video clip of VC shelled saigon residential area yet?
Inaccurated Russian rocket killed innocents people more than the combatants.
NVN incompetent military leaders in the name of unification and defending fatherland sent wave and wave of naive young men to meat grinder. We entered Quang tri in summer of 72. Rotten NVA corpes were littered every where, the smell was so bad;
I didn't mean to offend anyone on youtube. I understood both side b/c my dad is from the north and my mom is from the south. They met as open minded Vietnamese. War is cruel and guess who started it all? There were a unification election to reunited the country after the French defeats at Dien Bien Phu, and guess who tore the agreement up? You sound smart, please support our Vietnamese because I know how ever hard you tried to be a westerner, deep inside you're still a VNamese.
all of oversea vn have supported vn indirectly and directly since 75. You see the "traitors" on the surface.!!!! One example
They protested china with political overtone, anti communist, anti china, buring china flag "some thing people in vn can't do" .The Chinese got notices, the world community will be awared. Child labor, sex slave in taiwan, corruption, poverty, gender inequality, polution, oversea vnese are the first to sound alarm.
On top of that charity work in vn, bilions of dollars sending home and spending on all kind of services in vn to support local economy. They can eat, spend money or stay where many westerners would not
then why don't you stop complaining and put your money where your mouth is. America has done much harm to Viet Nam and you are accusing "Vietnamese" for destroying our beloved country? don't let the AMERICAN money launder you away from your ethnicity or do you consider yourself "AMERICAN" now?
This is very sad but also very real. The parallels are so adequately portrayed! You put forward a deep message. Too bad the adequate targets choose not to see it. We all end up paying a price, except for those who hold the power—for now.
The event of war gives life and liberty a total new meaning. The pursuit for happiness carries a high price!
You always find the right way for the "message" Grant.
The contrasts between violence and innocent suffering, between death from the skies and songbirds on the ground, between the spoken words and the depraved deeds and between the swirling beauty of tendrils of smoke and total annihilation are impressive and striking. There is no middle ground. This is creatively assembled.
It is extremely painful to watch how the most vulnerable, the weakest, the poorest, are usually the ones who suffer the most. This boys' cry really touched my soul...
screw you G Bush and America for trying to run the world, whether its US or Hitler, Stalin, Hussein or Bush Fuck you leave those kids alone this isn't a fucking joke or Pink Floyd cock rock song you morons in the Repug Party
excellent video..It shows just how sad our realities are in the western world. When innocent lives are taken, victory is celebrated, yet there is a deafening silence that we should not ignore.
the sorrow of hearts that soaks the ground in blood even until this day does not end. some people care not that there are children on the other end of the falling bombs
I wonder how many Iraqi children have suffered the same fate. Here lyes shock and owe. Otherwise known as dreadful sorrow the kind of sorrow that cuts of oxygen into your lungs as your throat swells as the pain is too large to come out in tears
Eisenhower warned us, and JFK paid with his life. Once the military Industrial Complex eliminated JFK the evil too root and has remained ever since. Keep showing the truth as you have been Grant. The World is waking up.
That's a very touching video indeed, thank you Grant for taking your time to produce this video. I feel that this war is more of a massecre than a war, yet they still called it a "war", who won really? The murders just packed up and continued their journey to Iraq since.
