I've been working areas around picnic tables the past week as my latest detecting interest, I think I'll get one of these coils for my M6 as well. The factory 9.5" coil is a good loop but it seem to be best for general use, open field or wooded areas.
The White’s M6 appears to be a nice machine. In fact, I have put it on my short list of Detectors to investigate. But something I am observing in many videos, is Hunters using the smaller Probe, to Pin Point the target. Are these Probes necessary? Is it difficult to pin point the targets location with the Coil?
@01Stratplayer No it is not difficult to pinpoint with the metal detector. The smaller probe is used to help recover the target after you located it with your metal detector. It will tell you if its a shallow target right on the surface or help you find one after you dig out the hole. They save you a LOT of time. If you get one get a good quality one. Do not buy the cheaper models. They do not last.
Another good video dirtfisher, I love my M6, great separation and fast recovery. This is a good example of crosstalk between the probe and the detector for the people who don;t know what it sounds like, you think probe manufacturers would have gotten around that by now. great job, HH
