Lol I'm not even a Latina and this inspired me! My dad lost our census--it wasn't very important to him. After I watched the first 2 PSAs, I realized how important this is. I searched the house for our census and filled it out right away! They're right, it's important.

That was beautiful, but how do I fill out #9? I'm a mixed person. I'm part white, black, and American Indian. I don't know which percentage is greater and I don't side with any of these individually. I'm a Latina and they won't even give us a category under race, yet they provide that option for what seems to be every Asian nationality. Also, I hear that federal law specifies that you can be fined if you either dont answer ($100 per question) or provide a false answer ($500 per question).

@lauranaut Man, that's tough. Whatever you choose wouldn't be a "false" answer because you ARE all of those things. Maybe which ever you feel more pull towards or (if you can't choose) whichever you look most like?

Once again, Voto Latino has made an incredible PSA and they have opened peopel's eyes all over to let us know about the census. I filled mine out and I try to get people to fill it out too. Voto Latino's PSA's aren't only for latinos, but they help our the entire community. Un aplauso.
