I did my fist set of Stats this morning. Took less than 2 hours. Your video is the only reason I attempted the job. After watching it a couple times it boosted my confidence, but I must admit when I opened the hood and looked at the job it still made my knees quiver! Thanks for making these great videos.

Would it just be better to just delete the EGR and RR the Thermostat and Radiator? EGRs have been a fali since the 6.0

You probably could delete the coolers if it was for off road use or in a non emission state. In a manufactures shop, we go back with original to keep within federal guidelines.

what does the fuel cooler do?

In the simplest terms, it cools the fuel. On the 6.4 liter, the fuel pressure is increased in the high pressure fuel pump. The heats the fuel. It returns to the fuel cooler to cool the fuel. The fuel cooler is a liquid to liquid heat exchanger that reduces the fuel temp to ambient temp or better.
