I just got mine 4 day's ago at Macy's & they had it in red or white, I went for the white!! It's so beautiful! It's heavy 4 lbl with nothing in it. I'll be getting another color soon! Yes it is made in China wish they could make it here in the State's, some of the leather is made in Italy . Enjoy everyone!!:)

Love the D&B Florentine collection! I am a big fan & own too many some would say. I have the Florentine med hobo in the natural & the larger version of this bag in the black. The color

will darken on the natural & look even more beautiful.

@lovemickytobits Hi! It is heavier than a usual bag but this is due to the quality materials it's made of (thick vachetta leather, partial suede/textile lining, gold tone hardware. I'm used to the weight and I tend to carry a lot anyway so I don't notice the weight at all. If its too heavy for you, perhaps you can check out the smaller satchel sizes.

This bag was love at first sight for me! I just purchased it with Macy's 25% off friends and family sale! I have never liked Dooney and Bourke but this bag, I LOVE! I'm more of a Coach leather or B. Makowsky girl. This bag is so rich looking yet you can wear it with jeans and a tee. I can't wait till it's at my doorstep :)

How long is the strap if you double it?

OMG thanks for the strap tip. I pre- ordered my bag before it was actually released in both black and brown. Love them but hate e long strap as I will never carry it cross body. I'm only 5'5 so the bag on my shoulder almost hangs to my knees, which is awkward.

Thanks for the review! I notice you mentioned the fold-over problem and I just bought the satchel in small two days ago. I am in love with it! <3 But unfortunately, the fold is make it or break it for me. I so want to love it though.

I plan on carrying mines cross-bodied most of the time and the bag does exactly the same thing as yours- the fold lifts up. Have you noticed that becoming better over time? And what size is yours?

@bluexxfire Hi! the leather did get softer over time, the flap still lifts up but its more of a slouchy lift instead of straight up. My bag is the regular size (not the small and not the mini).
