Akhi, correct your salaat, pray right on time, don't let any night pass without having prayed witr, and pray tahajjud. Fast at least 2 days a week. Read the ayaat of Allah and think about them. InshaAllah you will be able to control your desires.

I held that position until I came across some valuable input of Sheikh Albaani who held the view that they are one and the same. He used as evidence the stroy of the two men and the two gardens in Suratul-Kahf. Read it and see how Kufr and Shirk are used interchangeably.

@arleta83 Walaykum Asalam Its a good time to do dhik based on the Prophetic hadiths, after the five daily prayers it is recommended to seek the forgiveness of Allah Ta`ala by reciting Astaghfirullahthrice. Is also recommended to recite 33 times Subhanallah, 33 times Alhamduilllah, 33 times Allahu akbar and once la ilaha illallah and Ayat al-Kursi.

Asalamu'alaikum brother, thanks for the lecture. Just a question, I'm wondering for someone who is a muslim, then goes to christianity (or worse perhaps Ahmadia), then comes back eventually, is he still in trouble? I ask out of concern for a brother.
