I'll give this film 7/10. What I enjoyed was that Jason was finally back at Camp Crystal Lake, He was probably more badass than ever, and the opening sequence.
What I didn't like was that there was no memorable death like their usually is and they aren't that faithful to the original
to be honest I dont think some one that is 14-15? years old should be reviewing a movie. when at that age you can't see the full pro's and con's of films, you are a jason fan NOT a friday the 13th fan thats why you didn't like the 1ST one because it wasn't jason it was his mother! It should've never been called simply Friday the 13th. It should have been titled as a sequel. It has absolutely nothing to do with the first film, Jason doesn't get his hockey mask until the third film, and he's not even the killer in the first one. It's just inaccurate and just a shit film, in my personal opinion.

I really injoyed Friday the 13th alot, but ya, it did kind of remind me of the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacarre. When i was younger, i was so scared watching Friday the 13th movies, they were so scary. I had nightmares of Jason. This movie wasn't that scary, it only made me jump in some parts. I don't know why Jason had Weed in the Camp site, and that guy in the woods with his mp3, but i really injoyed that movie. I think i'll give it 4 stars out of 5.
Another thing, rob zombie did an amazing job on the halloween remake. Only thing he did bad on was the dwelling on mike as a kid. It had the same feel as the original and i guess none of you didn't notice that "danielle harris" which was the girl in 4 and 5 was the cops daughter in this. First off, the intro was a slap in the face to the original. Since when does jason capture and torture his victims? He shouldve beat that bitch off the tree instead of her hanging over the fire. How he got the hockey mask was lame. Finding it on a crummy attic floor?
