  • I love those descending wheels very cool. Like you say the price point is a bit high, you would think at least a Sand Person would be included. Awesome review, I didn't know so many versions came out with the vehicles. :)

  • Great Review , i saw him on toys r us But is realy expencive as you said i prefer to but the taunton with han and the rebel trooper and its the same price :D but i

didn´t find that yet , But the detail on the older one is also a realy cool , the new one is better in somethings but stil the olde one is nice :)

You said informative is was fun to whatch thats what mater :d keep the nice work :)

  • I love the original landspeeder. I'm going to ask for the new one for Christmas

  • You can find scans online from the JC Penney and Sears Wishbooks of the early '80s. Its kinda cool to see the Star Wars pages again, if u grew up then.

  • Awesome review man! I always love how you compare your figures and sets and thanks for the shout out! I really appreciate it...

  • Awesome review! I dont care much for accuracy and details but i some times i do care about bad paint jobs. I always like the comparisons you do. It makes me want to buy all the stuff you show lol great job!

  • Nice!! I seen this one and passed--just waiting for them to mark it down--haha--I am still using my vintage one for display.

  • I can't wait to see your new style of reviewing keep up the good work .

  • Great review! I'm sold if it's on sale for black Friday I'll pick it up.

  • Aren't there foot pegs on the backseat of the original, to keep the droids in place? I have the 2002 version, really like it.

  • @scrambuild No, not on the 78 landspeeder, but for some reason that sparks a memory with me. I'm sure at least one type of vehicle has something like that, but I can't remember what it was. Dang, now it's going to bother me all week. Thanks a lot!

  • @micahc6v8 there are foot pegs on the very back of the 78 Landspeeder, but on the sonic Landspeeder from J.C. Penney, there are both pegs on the backseat and on top of the back area for the droids. Perhaps on your 78 Landspeeder, the pegs are broken off the backseat.

  • @micahc6v8 POTF2 has the foot pegs to keep the droids in place I have that one, it was my first SW toy from when I was a kid its missing the windshield though...

  • Brilliant

  • i like your reviews a lot man, dont change em up too much. i appreciate the personal experiences and thoughts.

  • @boojwahz Thanks, I know some people like the childhood memories, but looking back at my old videos I sometimes went overboard telling stories and I ignored the figures. I'll post a new style review tomorrow. I'm re-doing hammerhead, and I almost included your joke about him wearing a "onesie"- which was the best comment I've ever seen. Thanks man!

  • great review i think im gonna wait for clearence to try to get this one, but to be honest if they had a clearence i would want to get the search for luke skywalker before getting this one really wish they had added an opening hood since it would make it more like the VINTAGE collection

  • I have the sonic controlled J.C. Penney exclusive landspeeder as a part of my vintage collection. "NORMAL stores..." LOL!

  • @bluesnagg yeah, I think i said Sears, but I meant JC Penny. It's funny because neither one is well known for selling toys nowadays, but apparently that was the place to be back in the 70's and 80's. I was curious about the sonic landspeeder, does it do the same thing as the sandcrawler, driving backwards in a circle?

  • @micahc6v8 It's not quite the same, as its a "sonic" as opposed to "remote control." It goes straight, but when you click it, it changes direction. It is HUGE compared to the standard landspeeder, but I needed it for a complete vintage collection. I have the 2002 landspeeder, the same mold as the current Target exclusive, so I thought that I would pass on it. However, your review and the other review you referred to have me thinking twice about passing this up.

  • @bluesnagg Also, I might add, the sonic landspeeder doesn't go backward, as the wheel in front just changes direction, so the landspeeder ends up going in a circle.

  • Great review! I"m really itching to get this one, have not seen it around my stores yet. My favorite was the 2004 one but it definitely needs to be more 'red'. I think it's a bit sad that you can't open the hood of the new landspeeder, that should have been an added feature

  • I may consider getting this. But not right away. Probably wait for what Black Friday/Thanksgiving deals they have on Star Wars stuff before I rush out and get one...

  • great review i think this looks great but not as great for $25 dollers lol

  • @CollectorStarWars I know, you can get a tauntaun and 2 figures for $25 bucks. You'd think they wouldn't price themselves out of the market like that. If it were any other vehicle I wouldn't have paid that much, but I'm happy with it. I wont be buying any more for a while since Christmas is coming up, so this should hold me off until January.

  • @CollectorStarWars ...i agree this should not be more than $14.99us max...

  • @SteveSabbai your right that would be a great price

  • seems like a great toy

  • Amazing review! I cant tell you how much I want this Micahc! lol Thanks for showing the comparison Ive done that myself a few times think its a really good way to convey detail and differences for both speeders! Love it!

  • @LaughItupFuzzball70 Thanks man! It is a nice trip down memory lane. This would look great next to some of your Tatooine sets or the land of the jawas playset. If I were as talented as Budget Jedi or some other guys on here I'd try to make a mos eisley diorama with it.
