  • WWT is great, but it has anomolies on it that are seen in sky as UFOs is this for learning too? Blue discs (reflections) Make good use of your time to make a difference....Keep an open mind, there is much to learn...Mars - Go to my slideshow for real NASA footage of mars surface and Rock's? You decide?

  • the anomalies should be kept there, it makes the software more interesting hehe :)

  • Interesting, maybe but inacurate as they are not in the right place..... and they lend toward the addage that UFOs are just a computer error???? etc. - - - Not the TRUTH....

Any flaw in technology as this is still a flaw....

Not as smart as they think they are actually...

What's definately more interesting is actually viewing the real thing... that's stars planets and UFOs.... buy a telescope and a camera, they can't edit those, yet...

  • so your saying that their covering it all up by saying it's a reflection, or a computer error, when it actually could be the real thing?

  • that's cool

  • Bc its Microsoft remember! If you use BootCamp, you might be able to use it but im not sure if its worth the expense.

  • WHY THE FUCK ISNT THIS SHIT FOR MAC!?

  • dude Microsoft isn't gonna develop amazing software for something that cant handle it. besides that point, Microsoft and mac are competitors. they're not gonna make stuff to benefit each other, they're gonna make stuff to benefit them selves

  • that's not true at all. most mac software is available on PC now. especially when it comes to research tools.

the problem is that microsoft made all the 3d shit in DirectX which is not supported on the mac. you can run this on a mac using Bootcamp and WIndows, though!

  • This is a *research* project, not a product.

It is built as a proof of concept, not as something to sell. Considering that, the quality of the project is absolutely amazing.

  • Actually, if you go to the worldwide telescope website now they have an online, browser based version for all operating systems. Its essentially the same as the downloadable version with some minor differences. The only thing you need is Silverlight 2 which they will prompt you to download (for mac and windows)

  • wow, thanks a lot!

  • you're welcome

  • @Eldwinn You do realize Microsoft and Apple are competitors?
