What I never got about this cards is that it was a field spell and only the controller benefitted from it. What's up with that? I mean I know adds to the effect and all, but wouldn't it have made more sense if it was a continuous spell so that it could relate to the rules of the actual game...... I just realized what I was saying. How stupid of me to forget this is the anime where you can "screw the rules."

actually, the seal does not effect attribute. It only makes them look darker on the show. The effects of the orichalcos are "This card can not be removed from the field by spell, traps, and monster effects, and no other field spell cards can be played. The owner of this card's monsters gain 500 ATK. You may summon monsters in your spell and trap card zone. Monsters in you spell and trap card zone can not be attacked if there are any in your monster card zones."

It's kind of irritating how much Shunoros lost in it's effect now that it is out. Normal Monsters?! Why?! I hope his effect is made-up for through Dexia, Aristeros, and Kyutora. If not, I'm not using them when they come out...I'm just going to collect them because they're my favorite card series next to the Spirits.

No. It a) lets you use S/T zones as monster zones, b) makes your monsters DARK, c) increases their ATK by 500.

Actually, there is. The Seal turns all monsters on the controller's side of field to DARK, then raises their attack points by 500. Also the control will have a second row of monsters (Overlap cards, so the opponent can't get to cards on the back row until the front row is cleared).
