Claudia is much mroe of a romantic and sweet creature in the book compared to the film. I think they focused why to much on theatrical events than the emotions, thoughts and general plot of the book.

The character louis is meant to be one who constantly seeks humanity inside himself and a general love and understanding.

In the books his relationship with claudia deffinately echos this much more as does his distaste for his maker lestat

@bandese I already have read Interview with the vampire, Like 5 times.. And I know what happens in the book and what kind of vampire Claudia is and what she does. But I don't compare the movie with the book. I think the movie is different and in the movie you can see more passion between them. I know the book is alot different and when I read I see a different Claudia... So please don't tell me to read the book because I alread read it a few times. ~.~

13 almost 15? do you mean 13 almost 14? Well, I can see why your family would dissaprove, since I'm from a catholic family as well. I highly reccommend just watching it at a friends house. I would have reccomended watching it with them to show them it's not that bad if they weren't so strongly religious, since it is very vampire but not satanic. It really isn't that bad. It's a shame, since this movie rocks. Find a friend and watch it with them. Good Luck!

Well, you may just have to wait until you're a little older, or you can sneak it into the house and watch it on your own. If your friends are strongly religious too and that's why they don't like vampire movies, don't force the issue. However, if they don't like vampire movies just because they're lame or something, explain how much you want to see the movie and if they're a good friend to you they should be able to put themselves through two hours of lameness for you.
