Dude what control or joy stick were you using.I have Clearview and I"am having problems using a Dynam USB Controler with Clearview. Can someone inform me on what works best with Clearview?Any one?
@MrJr298 I am using an old hitec RC control, I had to buy a cable that went from it to USB for 30 dollars or so. It plugs in like a buddy box would, only there's no buddy box but instead the USB port.
Hi.. I take it you used 'FRAPS' to record the vid from Clearview?? If so, how did you get such a long vid at a reasonable file size? I did a 30 second file and it was HUGE!!!!! , Neat flying btw!!
@flapjack2175 Practice is what it takes to learn, I would suggest a simulator and spend time flying that. Its a fun hobby but can be pricey with crashes!
@LukethedudeDesigns Cheers, at the moment i am using the clear view rc simulator, it's good and has the plane that i use, my dad is gonna by a buddy lead so when i screw up he can fix it for me lol
Great sim. After screwing with Reflex and FMS, and not having any luck, Clearview installed on my Windows 7 box with NO issues at all. Tomsrc USBg cable was plug and play ($10 on ebay) and works great with my Futaba 7C. Any 'game controller' will work with Clearview. I was using a logitech ps2 looking controller while my cable shipped.
@watermelonboy100 No, the program is downloaded and then installed onto your computer. The download is free with a few planes and helis. To unlock all flying sites, planes, cars and helis you have to purchase the program.
@LukethedudeDesigns hi such, I have this game but I have the demo, and my trial period is over and asked if you could give me the activation key, I would be very grateful
@3200rodrigo Clearview doesn't work that way, you buy a seperate key, if I did give you mine my Clearview would go back to the demo version and thats not going to happen.
Thanks! Yes of course, setting up the sim is fairly simple, any tech questions can be asked to Stefan, creator of this program and you'll get a reply in minutes sometimes.
As of the cord, run a search on google and and you will find many different sites where you can purchase this from.
it appears that clearview, gave up some more realistic physics ,for the great graphics, either way its still a great training tool,,ps ill never get rid of aerofly, unless they come out with something better
of course even the multimilloin dollar sims at nasa fall sort, too, those guys who have g3 get all bent out of shape when you critique their junk,,lolll
btw,,,id use fraps ,,,but that asshole who administers the site blocked me for calling him a bitch,,for not answering my questions,i guess he felt he was too important to do that, and apparently customer service wasnt that important.
the Time Machine Hobby shop in Manchester Ct. sells a program like this and its very fun to fly, I tried the plane sim and i did OK, im used to flying the planes in GTA San andreas, BTW is there an option in this game where you can have the camera on the plane?
great look - if I might ask, how do you go from the clearview sim to the movie to the youtube post? I tired and got lousy results making a movie of my monitor. Very pixelated.
I use fraps to record Clearview, that saves the recordings as .avi then I put them all in Windows Movie Maker, add some music, do some editing and save as a .wmv (I think thats what it is). Then upload that to youtube.
so basicly the exceed or walkera 4ch rc flight sim can do 6 ch helis? then how do u do the idle and throttle lock switches? is it with ur keyboard or something? and what simulator do u recommend?
If you have the money Realflight G4.5 if you want to save a little get this program, Clearview RC. Realflight comes with a transmitter but Cleaview doesn't, still its alot cheaper though.
Yes you can but like any other RC flight sim it is not nearly as fun as using a RC radio to control the airplane or helicopter. I run ClearView on my iMac running Windows XP in Bootcamp and it runs nice and fast. Excellent RC flight sim for the money.
I have flght simulator, and i have a rc 5 channel controllor, it said on this website that i could connect my contorlor using a ideo wire, then download a driver so it ccould reconize it as a joystick, if anybody knows anything about that please reply, ty
I would go to the CV website and e-mail support. I use a hitec Laser 4, my PC already knew what it was as soon as I plugged it in. And I really like my Tribute 3D, its very easy to fly and can perform 3D tricks nicely.
You download this one off the internet (rcflightsimDOTcom). Its 40 to get the full version but free to try out the demo. But unless you have a 4+ channel transmitter and a cable you'll have to buy one, those prices vary.
Ok, I have the blade cx2's controllor, its 5 chanel and has a little port in the back that says trainer. All i need is a cable to conect it to the computer? Also is there any good beginer rc planes that you know of?
so i bought the simulator and have a esky transmitter i have calibrated the controller on my pc and the windows part works fine but when i calibrate it on the simulator the throttle aileron elevator all move at the same time when i move the throttle stick up or down, you wouldnt happen to know the answer to fixing this would you?? it could help alot i really wanna learn to fly already so i can fly my heli =(
Yeap, wont be hard to fix. In the controller setup (in Clearview) lister are the following: Throttle, Rudder, Aileron, Elevator. By each is a meter (which shows you what sticks move what control surface) next to that is a white box, the first one should be Dail (which is throttle), then go down one for Rudder and select a different one (mine is Z Rotation yours might be different) hope this helps!
Yes, you can make anything you want with that program, planes, helis, 3D flying sites along with playgrounds for CV. So far I made 6 planes, 4 3D fields and a few playgrounds.
No worries, school just started up (although 4 days out of 5 were out due to Topical Storm Fay), and Im in TV Pro 2! BTW What kind of videos do I need to make, I was thinkin real RC planes :D
HELP hi i just bought a falcon 40 and how can a dnload a free flight simulator that i can hook my controller up to? most of my crashes are because i dont have the controls down and its pilot error. help?
You can DL this one but its coast 40 dollars, but with that 40 dollars you get lifetime upgrades. You can also do a Google search for FMS, thats a free flight sim, although its not nearly as good as this.
Yes, Its hard to get the pictures just right though. You need to take a 360 shot at eye level, then another 360 shot at eye level at a +30 degree angle, than another one yet with a -30 degree angle.
Than use autostitch to stitch them together. If your pano comes out right all you need to do is import it to Clearview but autostitch always needs help stitching the pictures together. Best Wishes!
Looks really great! I've downloaded the demo and played with it for a few minutes: i've been very impressed by the speed and responsiveness of the simulator (considering that I used it on a virtual machine). Just a question: are you using some physics engine?
i know it not real the texture on the plane gives it away... and all th manuvers and Gs it pulls. what game is this?
some of the background textures look real amd i correct?
wicked video. most of the manuvers in this vid are unservivable for instance the helicopter that went way up in the air then came down stoped a few feet from teh ground and went back up again in about 1 sec. that was prob 10 0r 12 Gs ^^ OFFROAD
Everything in this video could be done in real life, I can do everything the planes do with my planes, but Im still working on my helicopter skills. I made 2 of the planes on here, and its an RC flight sim (Called ClearviewRC look at the videos name) You can take a 360 shot of a field and load it into this program than fly there, its pretty cool.
