Anyone who thumbs down this impeccable jam is either a brain washed whigger or one of those little sissy Blink 182 and Linkin Park faggots who hide behind there overpowering synthesized base, because none of these little no talent ADHD punks can play guitar, much less play it and write songs with it....Thank God I came up when I did........
I recorded this concert on Betamax, too! I wish I still had it. Do you have the rest of this concert? I've been looking for it for YEARS! I remember it had great versions of "Life's Been Good" and "Rocky Mountain Way."
great memories when I was a senior in HS! All night fishing, a pinch of Copenhagen, and this song coming on the radio. I miss those days...and all the awesome music!
@ccarnage556 Hey, if you're into that nipple action (and who isn't) Check out Mary McGregor Torn Between Two Lovers from the Midnight Special The one where she has a yellow top. The nipple isn't hard at first and then...Good Stuff
@ccarnage556 Oh and the woman here that you saw at 0:56 (Rosemary Butler) is playing bass for Mary Mac Gregor. Must be something about her or the artists she plays with.
This is my theme song for Peak Season at UPS. A good hefty pinch of Copenhagen and I'm good all night long. But there is this funny smell about....hmm... I think it's my ass getting smoked like a cheap cigar! I'm glad we're getting you're packages to you on time! Underrated Rock Anthem. Joe Walsh is F'ing awesome! He keeps it simple with basic blues. He died in the 70s but death was having such a good time hanging out with Joe, he forgot to tell him! Walsh in 2012!!!!
I was in like 2nd grade when Rides Again came out. I've been hooked ever since. My music tastes continue to change & embrace new & different music over the years. Various forms of hard rock/metal/progrock, reggae, funk, old soul, ska, new wave, jazz in its many forms. And yet... Smokin' Joe Walsh is STILL my all time-hands down favorite!
Another one of those nights.... No party this time though. Only takin' care of business, (All Night Long). Just wouldn't dream of it without some tunes ya know. Sweet dreams y'all!
Of course, the damn thing is you can go "All Night Long" only so many times before it becomes "One Day at a Time" You are great Joe--Thank God you are still alive.
Got to say with all due respect to Mr Walsh. In Augusta, Ga. there was a band and a front man that could perform the hell out of this song. Carol Matthews and Tender Loving Care. They freaking ruled the Oasis. I would walk in after I got through at the Ramada and they would go into The Midnight Choir. They were the best of the best. Loved them. Carol, you ruled. Don' t ever forget it. love ya still, Johnny Clarke
Best version I ever heard was Carrol Mathews and Tender Loving Care at the Sands Lounge In Augusta, Ga. And I can t forget their version of Midnight Choir. Better than the Gatlin Bros. Johnny Clarke remember we ruled the town LOL
I love the way his voice sounds like when he says "Weekend Comes" at about 0:51. And I love his hat. Joe Walsh has a great and unique voice. Like in the song Rocky Mountain Way and Life's Been Good.
Good day to all of my fellow Christians, firstly my apology for being out of topic. I came here to remind you people that the judgment day has started already. I live in NY and I have seen him solo many times during his career even when he was with the Eagles. I saw him two years ago at the Beacon Theatre, solo, and the year before with the James Gang. I have been going to see Joe since the early 70's and have never, ever seen a bad show or seen him play to an empty venue. May I suggest that instead of going to a book store to get CD's that you go to Best Buy. They have a great selection of everything!

...and once again, Joe proves to me that I was born in the wrong decade.
If only I could have been old enough at the time they came out to go pick up a brand new copy of his records.
Unfortunately, people have seemed to overlook him, and he did end up sitting in a second hand store, which is where I've had to find most of his LPs.
I would do horrible things to get to see him live just once, but unfortunately I don't think that will happen anytime soon.

I can only find a greatest hits album in the store every once in a while which is normally a sad representation of his work.
I live in North Texas and I've checked his website; it always says where he will be touring with the Eagles but not where he will be touring solo.
The problem also is not so much getting the CD because I could find that online; I just like to collect his early LPs.
