My father went to Germany to visit relatives prior to the invasion in Iraq. He said every civilian over there told the German government if they send so much as one soldier to Iraq, they would shut down the country & not spend or buy anything which would in turn hurt the government. Saddam wanted to destroy the countries who did not obey their religion or law and shit. They also took down the U.S. Embassy and that's what woke up the US, then the US funded WMD research and gave them weapons to fight saddam, then gave the opposing side weapons so they could not overpower them, it was a way of keeping balance.

Almost all have started a war and less than half where able to make their countries a better place for their people. Sure many men have started war but most did not. And most male rulers have been able to bring some kind of productivity to their people.

Of course it's sexist, and of course it's a double standard. I'm not saying that 'all' women are more peaceable 'all' men, but I am saying that most are, and the ones that aren't are usually that way because of having to live in a male dominated world.
