This drama was top notch! All of the actors were perfect for the parts they played. The end was just the way life and death go. And this is my most beloved korean drama as it was my first! I fell madly in love with Song il Kook and make it a point to see everything he is in.

I think the film is very good but in my opinion the director has been mistaken in choosing the actors. If Song II Gook were in the leading role, the film would be watched more pleasently and continuously. But the film by Dae Jo Young`s acting can`t be watched even once. It is my subjective opinion.

Kind of slow upto epi 11. Nothing much happening. Epi 9/10 had gladiators fighting to death. It was a carbon copy of Spartacus. Similar costumes and fighting scenes. Turned me off. Not sure if that was a decent depiction of what might have happened long ago in China or thrown in for the sake of lengthening the story. Not really impressed so far.

Just finisked a marathon watching this one for the 1st time...bought the series. All I can say is OM! what a wonderful drama.

Does anyone know of a ancient series that ends happy?? I mean come on. Within the last four months I watched Bichumeon, Jumong, and EOS.

JangBogo Is my hero!This is the greatsest show ever.I cried my eyes out at the last episode so sad.Though I too feel sorry for Yeom I really do believe he thought he was doing the right thing when he killed Jang Bogo.Even Junghwa felt sorry for him until the end.Such a sad fate for all of them esp.Junghwa.I also feel the same in that JangBogo's son should grow up and kill Kim Yang.

They took jami to prison to be executed but jung jwa told bo-go to spare her and he accepted her offer and told jami to live a normal life. But Jami did not like (as always) not like the fact that she took pity on someone she hated so when she was released and went to her place all her belongings(silver pieces) was repossesed by Joong-dal she had NOTHING so the went to the sea and walked towards the seas and drowned herself thus killing herself.
