hello Mr Hann, i was thinking of starting an eldar army purelyentirely made of jetbikes and vipers, and i was wondering if it would be a viable and very competitive, if i was to have an autarch on jetbike, seer council with about 5 warlocks, 2 squads of shining spears, 4 vipers and the rest filled with guardian bikers. i was wondering if it would be effective at 1500+ points.

I'm new to WH40k but I am building a Saim hann army. How many warlocks and farseers on jetbikes should I use per Jetbike unit for a 1500pt or 2000pt army?

You should have a seer council at 1500+ points. It is a farseer on a jetbike with 5+ warlocks. Farseer has doom and fortune to cast on the council and the warlocks have destructor. A vert solid and effective unit. Fill the rest with jetbikes + shuriken cannons and either wave serpents with guardians/dire avengers or vypers.

Yea thanks alot, much help. I have bought 3 windrider host bike sets. and an army set (you know with the wraithlord and 4 jet bikes and 20 troops and grav tank). Btw your advice was very helpful.

oh and btw how do I convert a farseer or warlock on a jetbike? other then cutting a normal seer/warlock in half I mean. Can I use the autarch pieces somehow?

im just starting out (looks liek the game is awsome) and i was wondering what a good race to play as would be

although many people play with this army, i would suggest Space Marines. they're a very forgiving army with high armor saves and are small enough to have an effective army in a reasonably short amount of time whilst still having enough models to do what you want. another idea would be to get the assault on black reach set. this way you have two ready made armies that you can use to get a feel for the game. after you play a while with SM, you might want to change armies for a bigger challenge.
