its a stylus. its like a little pen but with no ink. u use for the touch screen it has if u want to. or if ur trying to keep it clean or preserve it then u use the stylus. its just a tool for the phne if u want to use it

you guys this is the best phone ever, i got it the launch date (march 1st) it totally rocks!!! Some of its features are kind of bad, but there are only two, like the headphone jack is only 2.5mm but thats workable, and the mobile tv is in the middle of the screen, not full screen thus making it harder to see it, but overall the browser beats the crap out of dare's and the texting is so much better. Also this is more of a smart phone where as dare is a play around phone

This phone is better than the Dare or the Voyager. It has the features of both phones but gives the customer the flexibility to configure the phone how they want (full Qwerty or Touchscreen). The phone comes with the Qwerty and additional modules will be available later.

And the pics do not do the phone or the module justice (sorry about that). It is a very nice looking phone in person. BTW, the Touchscreen is among the best I've used to this day.

Yes, the Versa is much better than the Dare. Think of it as a combination of the Voyager and the Dare; with the best features of both.

This "Sounds" like a nice idea, but then what would happen to the Voyager? Even if the VX9600 works perfectly, it's not going to have that nice feel of the Voyager. And the 9600 is kinda ugly. I guess it depends on how well it works. Who am I kidding, were Verizon customers, we have no other options. We will all just buy this new phone, or wait another year before something better comes out... Yeppie I guess?

Obviously you're not understanding. You don't have to carry around the different accessories if you don't want to. They only enhance the features of the phone, such as adding a qwerty keyboard since many people do not like virtual ones.

meh, the lg dare/voyager is still better, in many sense's of the word, since well, think of it like this, its a phone without add-ons that need the add-on's to be purchased, where as the dare and voyager both have the items reuired to operate them, no extra out of pocket costs, if lg was smart, they would have made the keyboard a slide [blackberry style]out keyboard,
