Hi I recently bought a great serial LCD with touch controller called SMARTGPU from vizic technologies, and it's just 3 wire interface, microSD-4GB, could be used as shield or on a standard breadboard, very powerfull graphics, You can create advanced applications very very easy, check my video response!
Good lookup table and sort algoritm but you fail in the same like me: lack of more effects! When we can did a multi-effects megademo for arduino? Feel free to contact me!
Hey cathedrow - this is insanely cool, and I just threw a link over on the blog. Wow! Do you have a website? How did you convert the code to run like that? Also, I wonder if you could drive the direction, or spin off a pin's value or analog potentiometer?
Glad you like it, inthebitz. I'm sorting out a public code repository at the moment, but check the vid again for my email and I'll send you the source.
Take the Liquidware library. Tweak it a little for performance. Add a reflective sphere renderer (it's just a few circles with different sizes). Add a simple 3d rotation and projection library. No need for real time trigonometry - use a lookup table. Add depth sorting. Dangle it in front of the iSight and hit the tubes! Ping me for source.

Anyway, fantastic work :)
