I remember this advert very well. It is one of my all - time favourites. I think it was on around 1992 - 1993. I remember it because a friend helped me win first prize in a fancy dress contest with the aid of a borrowed white school science lab coat and cut out card milk bottles linked together with string
This advert reminds me of my childhood, must of been 3 or 4 when I saw it. You know when an advert is good cus this advert used to make me drink milk...
They don't make adverts like they used to anymore and I think I must be around the same age as JasperLee23 as my earliest advert memories was the red car and the blue car (been re released in uk), and the wrigleys bus advert with the blonde girl :) funny how u dont notice that stuff when ur a kid.
This add along with 2 others is the first childhood memorys I have, I think I was 4 years old at the time and I loved this add, still do. The other two I remember are the nat west "filling the machine" with crocketts theme, the other was the wrigleys gum add when the boy and girl are on the bus!
Aww thanks so much, so many good memories of this advert - it was in all the commercial breaks between the Disney films my parents taped off the telly for me when I was little :-D
I'm pretty sure the tune is 'The Mexican Jumping Bean', one of the pieces of music that got played from time to time on the old BBC Light Programme - falling between 'serious' and real popular music.
Ok thank you again at the moment as I said. There is still also a video I've worked on but now the silly computer doesn't except the file cos it says. The file is not surported we don't know why it says it but if not I'll try again.
I'm sorry I might of heard of embeding a video. I know this might sound du or something but, after all I am a sleep apneir sufferer so who can complain? Does an embaded video mean I can put it on my website or not?
Idea please tell me if it's ok to download this and I think,if so I'll add it to my tv ad site. Thanks again for those magical 1990's memories. Ddddaddaddaddaddddaddaddaddadididdidddddd.
I remember this advert was this one from something like 1992 or 93? Or sometime like that because I remember there were atleast some I remember from 1992. Although I do have some earlier stuff in my mind. I have currently had to appoligise on my videos,as I had some trouble with the phone.I promise to tryagain.
This just has to be one of the best adverts EVER! I used to look forward to the adverts in those days as I knew that the dancing milk bottles would be on during most ad breaks!
Thanks for uploading the ad. Good to see it again :-)
I'd forgotten this ad completely, but a real treat to see it again. Reminded me ,when i was a paper boy i used to change the pointers on the milk crates. If it was at 2pts, I used to move it onto 4 pts!
My fave advert growing up!!! That and the dancing cars on ice.. anyone remember that one? or did I dream that up lol not the new one with the robot, but with them all skating like professonal ice skaters..
Was one of my faves as well! thot I'd never see it again!! N yes I remember the dancing cars. I hav that on an old video sumwhere lol. N they get thrown flowers at the end lol! Classic

A shame that most of the public don't realise what's involved in the milk industry... Cows have to get pregnant to produce milk. What happens to all the male calves?
I remember this advert being such a big deal at the time. Computer Graphics!!! I even seem to remember some kind of making of documentary on this which also appeared.

The tune is called The Grasshoppers Dance. I cant remember the composer off the top of my head, but we play it in woodwind quintet.

I remember the hype before this was first shown. It was to be (and indeed was) a landmark in CGI for an advert.
