  • I remember this advert very well. It is one of my all - time favourites. I think it was on around 1992 - 1993. I remember it because a friend helped me win first prize in a fancy dress contest with the aid of a borrowed white school science lab coat and cut out card milk bottles linked together with string

  • wow, Nanny McPhee male version :D lol

  • 1 guy with lactose intolerance didn't like this video.

  • @Silvarret ahahaha

  • a classic, lads! lads!, what a yer playin' at ?

  • love it!! Brings back memories doesn't it... Ahhh, those were the days...!

  • Classic!

  • Ahhh, memories =] Thanks for posting!

  • I still have a milkman, much prefere waking up to it on the doorstep rather than buying it from the shop all the time

  • anyone notice you dont get glass bottles for milk anymore?

    "milky milky"

  • Was this the first advert with CGI or computer graphics?

  • @WeWonTheWar no, but certainly one of the first

  • @WeWonTheWar Yes they made it with CGI!

  • @WeWonTheWar Check out the smarties advert from the 1980's. That has CGI

  • I LOVE this commercial!!!

  • Then our supermarkets turned up, smashed the little bottles to pieces, and kicked the milk man into the later quarter of the 20th centery.

  • Classic...thank you for posting...

  • Lads Lads... What are ya playing at? rofl

This advert reminds me of my childhood, must of been 3 or 4 when I saw it. You know when an advert is good cus this advert used to make me drink milk...

They don't make adverts like they used to anymore and I think I must be around the same age as JasperLee23 as my earliest advert memories was the red car and the blue car (been re released in uk), and the wrigleys bus advert with the blonde girl :) funny how u dont notice that stuff when ur a kid.

  • This add along with 2 others is the first childhood memorys I have, I think I was 4 years old at the time and I loved this add, still do. The other two I remember are the nat west "filling the machine" with crocketts theme, the other was the wrigleys gum add when the boy and girl are on the bus!

  • Aww thanks so much, so many good memories of this advert - it was in all the commercial breaks between the Disney films my parents taped off the telly for me when I was little :-D

  • The tune is called The Grasshoppers Dance. I cant remember the composer off the top of my head, but we play it in woodwind quintet.

  • this happened to me once.

  • This advert is actually my earliest memory - thanks for uploading!

  • Apparently reading on Google, Silicon Graphics made this advert!

  • They didnt make it, silicon graphics were used to make the bottles dance!

  • Great little vid, thanks for posting it. Its great to see it again. theres hardly any milkmen left now. soon your kids will ask what a milkman was.

  • I loved it then and I love it now! what a happy jolly easy to understand advert! And the tune is fab!

  • I'm pretty sure the tune is 'The Mexican Jumping Bean', one of the pieces of music that got played from time to time on the old BBC Light Programme - falling between 'serious' and real popular music.

  • this is back when adverts were actually GOOD!

  • Ok thank you again at the moment as I said. There is still also a video I've worked on but now the silly computer doesn't except the file cos it says. The file is not surported we don't know why it says it but if not I'll try again.

  • I'm sorry I might of heard of embeding a video. I know this might sound du or something but, after all I am a sleep apneir sufferer so who can complain? Does an embaded video mean I can put it on my website or not?

Dosen't matter if not cheers anyway.

  • The code to use is shown in the box on the top right.

  • Idea please tell me if it's ok to download this and I think,if so I'll add it to my tv ad site. Thanks again for those magical 1990's memories. Ddddaddaddaddaddddaddaddaddadididdidddddd.

  • Just embed the video.

  • Oh wow, I loved this brings a smile to my face. :)

  • It's a happy morning!

  • I remember this advert was this one from something like 1992 or 93? Or sometime like that because I remember there were atleast some I remember from 1992. Although I do have some earlier stuff in my mind. I have currently had to appoligise on my videos,as I had some trouble with the phone.I promise to tryagain.

  • I remember the hype before this was first shown. It was to be (and indeed was) a landmark in CGI for an advert.

  • I loved this ad when I was younger

  • Thank you, Vinnie! In those days, commercials were better than the programmes.

  • This just has to be one of the best adverts EVER! I used to look forward to the adverts in those days as I knew that the dancing milk bottles would be on during most ad breaks!

Thanks for uploading the ad. Good to see it again :-)

  • I'd forgotten this ad completely, but a real treat to see it again. Reminded me ,when i was a paper boy i used to change the pointers on the milk crates. If it was at 2pts, I used to move it onto 4 pts!

  • This is such a jolly advert. It takes me back to when I was a kid.

  • EMPPPTIES lol love it

  • Ah I loved this when I was younger, why can't adverts be like this again?

  • MILKY MILKY!

  • wtf

  • As an ex milkman I wish delivering milk really was that easy :o)

  • @buckhysen Did you used to tidy your customers gardens while you where out & about in the early hours like this guy did? lol

  • Oh I love this advert! The tune is "The Grasshopper's Dance" by Bucalossi. Have you got any more of these adverts with the dancing milk bottles?

  • I've got one more, but it's a shortie - probably only about 10 seconds in length.
