The Voidwalker is the best tanking pet the warlock has access to. Felguard though stronger and has access to better abilities doesn't have an aggro spell anymore for taunting. Plus Demon Soul: Voidwalker transfers all aggro you deal to your pet. Being on Affliction he doesn't have access to a Felguard anyways. Hope this clarifies :3

@Traumatas Oh and most importantly the Voidwalker's spell "Sacrifice" doesn't kill it anymore but gives a shield to the "master" that absorbs a certain amount of damage scaling on spellpower for 30 seconds. For instance mine absorbs around 11k if I remember last time I looked with about a 384 ilvl? I need to look again.

@swudeft You don't. You DrainTank Malygos most of the fight, and use Soulshatter+Demon Soul later on the fight to buy you some time to get back to high hp. However a lot better gear is available these days whihc means higher HP and you can use Felhunter for better dps.

@swudeft Like I said, I had quite low gear when I did it, and that lame 10k shield actually saved me at some point. Also used it to Soulshatter+Demonsoul to buy a few seconds of VW tanking him. There is absolutely no way of tanking him with a pet more than 10-15 seconds or until a vortex without doing drastically lower dps and hitting the enrage timer.

What's impressive about this video is that a warlock at high ilvl can solo maly at all, even when it's right on the enrage timer after a dozen attempts with all those consumables, nearly dying the whole time.

I noticed some hilarious comments implying there's something broken about warlocks that someone has done this at 85.

Somehow some people are not aware of what hunters and DKs have been doing since Cataclysm was released.

That a WARLOCK did this is why it was front page.

@teyeisgod You know you're referring to a warlock who went casual for cataclysm and stopped raiding completely at the start of 4.2 cause of the summer vacation. As to your incorrect gemming, the bonuses are hit or hit/int gems to bring me to the hit cap. To your under the hit cap, it's only 0.16 which is 1 miss in more than 500 casts, but yeah ... you're AWESOME.

The reason I said gear dependable is because if you don't get a bit of luck to have at least 1 or 2 double sparks, you rely solely on your gear and you're not making the enrage timer with my gear. But if you go 10-15 ilvl's and BiS's, things are different.
