The only thing that bothers me about the music now, even though it's great. Is that so much of it has been recycled on so many albums. At least Bat Out of Hell was original. Bat 2, Bat 3, Original Sin for example, all have had songs recycled or reused in earlier albums or later albums and redone by different artists as well. Kind of takes away from the mystique of the music.
@JeffDavadPhotog Yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes I look through his catalog of artists and songs only to find a lot of what I've already heard before.
I believe his song "In the Land of the Pigs (the Butcher is King)" is fitting for this time. I'm not sure when he wrote it, but it was on Meat Loaf's latest album.
He's SUCH a good song writer, but why the heck does he reuse his stuff so much?

Finally, a video of a laid back Steinman discussing his work. I have been dying to see something that isn't a music video!
And the green screen effects in the background? wtf? lol!

I wish Jim would write a song about the recession. I have a great title, too:
I know its not illegal, but it just ain't fair.

A lot of Jim's most recent songs (as well as an updated "If It Ain't Broke, Break It", I believe, but don't quote me) are very politically charged.
