China has issued warning about military drills in its waters, in addition to the warnings issued by North Korea. A chinese sub snuck up on the coast of Cali a few weeks back, and fired a missile. Of course the government covered it up saying it was just a plane. China + North Korea is not to be underestimated. You could probably add in Iran and Russia as well.
