Thank you my Black brother, John Coltrane, may God bless you and you rest in peace! Ashe' !

  • The energy here is SO high. Coltrane is smoin as always. Elvin playing like only he can play. Tyner & Reggie are holding

things down. Finally, you have Dolphy.

  • Powerful and beautiful, as usual with Coltrane, Mac Coy Tyner and co.

  • best piece

  • Just stumbled upon this after listening to Impressions. This is insane!

  • this is indescribably beautiful.

  • multiple layers of harmony...sooo many and soo amazing

  • For 'Africa/Brass', Coltrane listened to old African percussion/chanting records and arranged some of them for this band.

  • That blows me from the first second.

  • Coltrane was a genius.

  • Thank for Posting this jazz masterpiece!! This is Coltrane at his best!!

  • Yesterday night I was driving along the road with my girlfriend and this song came to my mind. Coltrane is the jazz messiah

  • Boys and girls, just look how many viewers are here: right now, 3005. An think that for Beyonce or I don't know what pop star, there are MILLIONS.

If it wasnt't Coltrane and others like him, I've been said we are living on the Idiots Planet.

  • Is this on the original Africa/Brass LP. Because the recent CD release does not have this tune on it. DAMN. Great Head

  • This was not on the original LP. After the first "Africa/Brass" LP, there was a "Africa/Brass 2" LP that this was on. I suggest you get "The Complete Africa/Brass Sessions".

  • Yeah man, I did. Love the Trane.

  • Thanks for posting this, just what I needed to hear right now. What an amazing, incredible, wonderful tune it is. Counts among the very best of Coltrane.

  • absolutely marvellous

  • that song was amazing. I 'm not surprised though that's just coltrane.
