There is no "easy" way to get a full screen command prompt in Windows 7 or Vista. However, you can maximise Command Prompt to fit the size of your screen by right clicking the title bar and clicking Properties -> Layout and entering your screen's resolution into the Window Size boxes.

you were wrong about the numbers. in a 1 digit number code, it changes the letters, no matter what number/letter it is.

in a 2 digit, the first number/letter determines the background, the second being the text.

easier way:

1. google BSOD (in words)

2. open notepad type

I don't know about Windows Vista. I have never tried it on Vista. It works on Windows XP Home and Windows XP Professional for sure though.
