The two giant walking sticks I found in 1984 are similar to this one. They were both 8" long with bodies the diameter of my finger. Very strange creatures.

so creepy in the beginning when the mantis is looking directly at the camera as if to say "i know you are there". i kept expecting it to jump and attack the person with the camera. don't know the distance it was filmed from but it would be too close for me to film if it is close enough to acknowledge my presence.
