Yep, this is a song written by British band Depeche Mode, NOT those German groaners Rammstien. This SNG version is probably the only really good cover.

Actually, Depeche Mode said their personal favorite cover anyone has done was Rammstein's. They're a lot more than "groaners", they're the most successful German language band of all time, and their lead singer is not a "groaner", he tends to be a touch operatic at times and his spoken word lyrics are spine tingling. As well as that, Gore is an acquaintance of the band.

You can have your opinion, but don't go around calling R+ groaners when you've never heard songs like Nebel, Sonne, etc.

@joshnshan7744 i highly doubt that is the case... if you look from where the person is filming the vid from, they're more stage left, meaning that w/e speaker is on that side would sound louder. so if his speaker was on that side, he's gonna seem to be louder. which im assuming is the case bc there's a bit of delay in her vocals, meaning w/e sound it's picking up on camera had to travel farther. same thing happend @ a show i was at last year, dep. on where you stood. 1 vocalist sounded louder

Actually "one person" can make the difference. Especially if that person is a vocal performer. I like STG with Carah. Without that one person their sound suffers greatly. Since this vid is a cover of a Depeche Mode song, I'll use them as an example. DM has had a few members leave in the past but have been able to keep their sound in tact. If, however, Dave Gahan left the band (or was fired), it wouldn't be worth it for them to make another album. Their sound would be gone.
