Manjula, where do you find all your spices? We do not have an indian store here where I live so is there a reasonably priced online store I can get things like garam masala, & that other spice you use asafetida? Shukriya =)

thank you for the delicious aloo dum recipe Manjula! yogurt recipe: 1/2 gallon whole milk
2.5 T organic, active cultured yogurt
Pour milk into pan and boil. Stir constantly.
Cool milk in pan until luke warm.
Add LIVE yogurt culture.
Mix well.
Cover top of pan with 4 layers of cheese cloth. Spread a towel out in an undisturbed place and place pan in middle of towel; cover the pan with the rest of the towel.
Leave undisturbed overnite. Place in fridge in the morning.
can someone tell me, how to make the garam masala mix, and wot it contains, because here in mexico you cannot find it anywhere! i will be very pleased, please someone tell me !
