Did you know that Dr. Paul was AGAINST the 1964 Civil Rights Act? Do you even know what that law is all about? It was a landmark piece of legislation in the United States that outlawed major forms of discrimination against African Americans and women, including racial segregation. Did you know that Dr. Paul was AGAINST the 1964 Civil Rights Act? Do you even know what that law is all about? It was a landmark piece of legislation in the United States that outlawed major forms of discrimination against African Americans and women, including racial segregation. It ended unequal application of voter registration requirements and racial segregation in schools, at the workplace and by facilities that served the general public. He is STILL against it TODAY!

He opposed the civil war because he thinks slavery could have been ended for the same amount of money and no loss of life by just buying all of the slaves. (that, witht he knowledge of a pending war could have prompted the south to stop)
And he didn't oppose getting rid of institutionalized racism, he only opposed the government telling you who you can and can't let on your property.

If the South were getting a deal wher eon one side they got back the money they paid for slaves and then some and if they don't accept they have to fight ont he disadvantaged side fo a war, they likely choose option A.
And who says you have to go to war to end oppression. Apartheid, for example, didn;t end with war. Didn't happen in India, in US in the 60's, that's some BS,
