Excuse my ignorance (haha) but this sounds like an awesome analog delay; by adjusting anything can it be made to sound more like a digital delay with more exact repeats?
Oh for the want of a 'tap-tempo' switch... i would replace my Replica and Echotone for two of these if it had a tap-tempo.
still... Subdecay FX sound nothing short of brilliant... i am a proud owner of a Stupidbox 2.0 and would recommend it as the OD standard for any G-tarist.
Im also a proud owner of the stupid box 2.0, sadly discontinued...Not a clue why :S But now you and I are amongst the few thousand who own a very unique breath taking OD. :)
We will be doing HBE fairly soon. We are still waiting on our first order from HBE to arrive. We are not a Blackstone dealer. He only sells direct to the public.
id say check out the trex reptile - if you like the whole modulation thing, its also cheaper than the replica; right now im debating between a malekko echo 600 and maxon ad-999
i loved my malekko, but i like the setting on this one a bit more. ultimately went for a dd7 cuz tap tempo was a must and it was cheaper than most in comparison
I got both, i'd say and it's easy to tell that the replica is more high end, meaning the sound is kept pure, so it's pretty much more of a digital delay.
On the other hand, the Echobox is slightly more of a analog delay, it has lot more echo repeat, and in the end I need both of em.
I have one of these next to a TimeFactor on my board and I'm constantly torn between which to use - sometimes both. It's an amazingly warm, musical delay and the modulation to be coaxed from it can compete with any chorus on the planet. Nice one Brian, thanks. :)
LOVE IT

:32 - :56... Wow. It would be amazing to run a cacophony of sound into that, a la the end of Space Dementia by MUSE.
Thanks for all your demos Andy and PGS, you are one of my most valuable sources on YouTube.

that is the best sounding delay I have heard from PGS.
(or maybe it is the best recording of all the delays you have featured...one or the other)
