I thought the studio was just a non glamourous les paul..... Keep the costs down by making it look less ornamental and more work-horse like.

I thought woods and electronics were the same. The difference is purely cosmetic.

What is it with les Pauls anyway? Sure they look cool but pound for pound, you just pay for the name.

In addition, does anyone know how Tom Morrello gets his Tele to sound like an SG? I have no idea..... lol

Jeez, if you have the chance to buy a Les Paul studio at half price, if you love them so much, how could you refuse???

Les Pauls are NOT metal guitars, they are suited more to rock and punk.... Look at bands now and nearly always one of the bastards is swinging round a Les Paul. A1 Rock guitar. As for metal, i'd look at Ibanez or Maverick.
