He has done so much better in this kind of field, strobe, soma, jaded, bit of a let down compared to his other stuff. But clearly having the same beat repeated over is sufficient for you, adding a little variation. As a 5/6 minute song, this would work, but it gets tedious

A song like this shouldn't be this long. Strobe with its 10:37 length worked because it had a HUGE swell. This gets to its max like 4 minutes in, drops the drum beat at like 6 minutes, then just goes on with the same chord progression... :/ No one will complain about a short and sweet song. Just the long ones that don't need to be.

@kryptonitejesus I'm a fan of deadmau5, I'm listening to strobe right now, the climax is like at 7 minutes. When I think long song, I think huge swell. Thing about classical music (even though know one likes it :D) but a symphony song thats like 20 minutes doesn't have the same exact energy through out the whole thing. It builds. Its a nice beat, more on the meh side in my head, but at one point, I was like...when is this going to end?? :/ Techno has A LOT of loops, but not this much. :/
