@ ranelferguson01--Amen. I studied Hebraic roots a few yrs. ago and loved the symbolism of the Tallit, the Chuppah, etc. I am so glad to be Covered Under His Wings!!! I had a vision at church last month where I was holding onto His Prayer Shawl and flying across valleys and fertile lands. Pastor and friends prayer for God's healing in my body, as I share much in common w/ woman w/ issue of blood. This song is a true blessing and confirmation of God's Hand at work.
When the bible speaks of the hem of His garment I will kiss they are referring to the Tallit Katan – The Sacred Undergarment of Judaism. On each corner of this garment is blue strings tied in knots that represent God's law. Kissing these fringes is saying I love God's law for they bring true life to those who listen and obey them. Jesus wore this type of garment.
