Your description is not quite accurate.

On how you would calculate the profit from each seed. You forgot the fact that 1/8 herbs die (except trollheim, as you mentioned). So this is how to calculate the seed profit:

(Seed price - 8*herb price) - (1/8 of seed price) = Profit each seed

Hey bonbloc, I have a question. I'm 99 runecrafting and max melee (ovl/turm). My bank is more or less cleaned since I quit a while back, and I was wondering if I should suck it up and graahk for steady income, or if I should continue to bandos even though I'm 600 dry? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am looking to rebuild soon, and I cannot decide.

@Forespoken Don't Graahk, nats have gone to shit. Do double astrals or deaths/bloods, its better. And if you're 600 dry on Bandos, you should keep trying. Mabye it means you'll get lucky soon?

@Uatemydoodle remote farming is only if you're doing chain farming tbh, if you just farm once every 75min or so it would be a waste of my time to check the patches every 10min or so, specially when training something else, unless that doesnt require invent space and you can keep the stuff in your invent. Yes patch tele is useful, gotta give you that, super compost can be stored in leprechaun, cure plant could be useful, but they hardly die tbh, usually theyre either dead or grown=D

Why does the herbs i plant at the ecto farming patch always take like 5 min or something longer to grow than the other herbs? when i plant them all at the same time.

Its really annoying just waiting for them to grow, considering simply not using that patch.

An alternative method of getting to the Ardy patch is to use the fairy ring to teleport to the Legend's Guild (BLR). This means you can run south to the fairy ring after the Canifis patch. Also, running North-East from the Ardy patch means you don't have to teleport to Camelot to farm that patch.

nice guide i have a few suggestions =p

wear your ardy cape 4 and explorers ring. saves 2 invent spaces which helps while harvesting the herbs

use fertile soil spell instead of supercompost. saves 3 invent spaces, gives mage xp, and is usually cheaper then supercompost.

theres a bank deposit box in herby habbitat. much faster then teleing to edge

money? lol. haresting the plants to save your juju pots is too important for your "leet" money haha

Alright, can somebody tell me why I cannot teleport to ardougne with my runes, but when I use my tele tab it is perfectly fine? It says that I have not learned how to cast the spell yet, and i have been finished with plague city for years.

@plasmacoil65 once you've completed the quest you get a scroll which you have to read before you learned the spell.. if you lost it you can go back to edmund in just a lil west of Ardougne's north bank.

From the Ardy patch to the one in Canifis you also bring a Dramen Staff, go to the Legends guild entrance and tele to the Haunted Woods with the fairy ring (ALQ). It's pretty close to the patch. :)

Some notes about the Falador shield, Supercompost, and helpful teleports:

Falador shield doesn't increase your chance of herbs, it gives you 10% more farming xp when using the patch north of Port Sarim.

Supercompost will give a higher protection rate but also more harvest.

Lunar spellbook is an all-around better spellbook for teleporting when it comes to farming, for those who don't have Ardougne elite, or hard, they can use fishing guild teleport. And Catherby teleport is much faster.

A tip: Tell people that they can attach a amulet of nature to one patch. it tells you when they finish growing, and it also tells you if the patch gets diseased.

you need to show how to do it with the new teleports from that farm on lunar isle (idr what its called) but yeh those teleports should really help

@K03dm0nk3y the only teleport that would speed up your time is the teleport to catherby, which is about 20-30 squares east from where the camelot teleport is. which is about 10 sec max. If you farm every hour or so and you dont wanna be on lunars all the time cuz youre doing other stuff like slayer then its not worth going to lunars just for one teleport each time. Otherwise it could save u about 10 seconds yes.

@Joao91Neves 512mb+ graphics card. 3ghz+ processor, 3gb+ RAM at least.

if u have that, make sure you have at least 25% space of your hard drive remaining ( the one where windows is installed on, not sure for mac) use CCleaner, Spybot or Adware to clean your comp from trash programs, make sure some other video program isnt running while you're recording, nor any anti virus scan. Also dont record in more than 30fps, and dont record in full screen. gl
