One of the many things which is nice about pipe smoking is ...1) You smoke tobacco (and not paper, like cigarettes). 2) Pipe tobacco (can) smell sweet..chocolate,black raspberry and even Cherry. I had a (Clay) Churchwarden ...very very long stem . If you buy one use with care. Use pipe nail or finger to lossen tobacco after smoking.
@navynat124 Thanks fir the feedback!:-) I have 5 churchwardens they provide a really cool smoke! Also, thanks for the feedback regarding packing the pipe. It is just another way to do it of course. You have a few years on me re: pipe smoking, I will definitely check out your website bro!
btw I do agree with your saying of packing a pipe being an individual thing, but I have to say I don't think totally agree with your method. Main reason being you can't get a perfect cake that way
great video bro, been smoking pipes for about 10yrs now and I still haven't tried a Churchwarden, which is something I think I might need to change. To all you pipe smokers I have a website, feel free to check it out thepipeguy . wordpress . com
@RagnarokSensei Thanks for checking out my videos! The lighter is a Colibri made in London. Best lighters ever! Pipe smoking is a great art, hope you get a chance to try it! All the best!
Yo what lighter is that? Looks really nifty. Love your videos man, watching this has made me want to try a pipe. Love hand rolling my cigs. Much love bro.
@pipemannow- Thanks for the welcome!! We have a lot in common! I just started reading Sherlock Holmes this year and I can't get enough! Infact, I chose him for my next featured pipe smoker...lol! Love your videos!
Hey welcome to the online pipe smoking community!Haven't smoked Old Dublin in a while, great stuff! That is a sweet Peterson churchwarden! Like you, I grew up with my grandfather and my father smoking pipes. After reading Sherlock Holmes and Lord of the Rings, I couldn't wait to buy my first pipe when I was 18, and I have loved it since. Great looking collection you have as well. Cheers!
