Her drumming is supposed to be bad and simplistic. White Stripes wouldn't work any other way.

Actually this is also the case with many other popular bands... The White Stripes are just cool because they don't sell themselves as being great at playing music when in fact they are. I think the fact that Jack White plays and masters so many instruments and produces the stripes albums just clearly states that this is no regular musician. You'd probably find that he could beat you (and your Light Blue Strat) any day.

Those of you who are knocking Meg should stop. You should sit down at a drumset sometime and try making anything but awful noise. It's much harder than you think. Their version of this song floors me, and what a performance this is. Conan venturing onstage at the end is the only forgettable moment. Even without covers like these the Stripes would be amazing. But this stuff puts them that much higher above the average rock band of today.

dolly's voice was like nails on a chalk board for me and the song left me dry originally.

but when jack sings, the raw emotion in his voice brings me to tears no matter what performance i see of this song. bravo mr. jack.
