do the line out mod..into a pa....ive just bought one, cant wait for it to be delivered so i can pull it apart and mod the hell out of it......footswitches too.... ha ha ha....cheers.
I just played a blues gig this weekend with my microcube connected to a Fender 100 watt amp (on clean)... man!!!!!! I'm never gonna stop. I got one of those 299 Frontman 212s and this thing and don't need anything else. Nuff Said.
dude... i will say this right now. This amp is a god man.. but you need some extra money to upgrade it to get the best sound ever!!!! i have this actually connected to a huge 4x12 cab which is connected with a mesa boogie triaxis and man the sound is god like...
will this amp be able to be heard over a relatively quiet jazz drummer? in a small jazz band rehearsal (piano, sax, guitar, double bass, drums)? From this video I guess it would right?
I use mine in gigs. Only problem is at the end of the show when everyone goes up to break their amps, I look like a tool. Had my ass kicked off stage a few times with this amp, but hey its affordable.
I think that micro cube lose the concept of "small amp"...yeah it's a good device but, you cannot to get good tone at low volume..so I prefer the feature of master volume and volume amp of micro spider or the watt selector (0.5,1.5 and 5w) of vox da5 so if you are looking for a small amp to practice in your bedroom this little monster not it's exactly the best choice (maybe if you don't care play with headphone)
yes!! man I have seen your videos, they're awesome!! but I mean the micro cube is more portable than an amp for practice at low volume in your bedroom without disturb to you family or neighbors I'm talking about volume level, in other hands is a great product I have one and I love the R-Fier .
agree ivegot the micro cube rx and i regred bying it because it cant keepm up with drums. but iam gonna by a vox amp with a 100 watt so thet wont bother me no more lol!
hey um is dose the amp break up at hih volumes on the overdrive channels or nor?,,,,and do you think this is loud enough to take out on the street and play?
There may be ways to make it work in a bind but I wouldn't bother. I think the aux input is line level an not mic level. Even when you plug an ipod in it sounds ok but not great. It's really optimized for guitar.
Yes but not at the same time as you have an instrument plugged in. The Microcube has a microphone setting on the amp selector dial and you can use the effects with the vocals. It makes a nice little portable PA.

i think the micro cube is just to jam or warm up for a gig or something like that.....not to play in a band with it

Can you run the Rec/Phone Out of the Micro Cube into a more powerful amp so that you could still use the Micro Cube's amp models and effects?

The Micro Cube is very loud. I tried to test it outside and it is pretty loud. But I never tested it playing along with a band.

Microcube gets veryy loud when you use R-Fier. I only use 1/4 of volume when i play.
Nabunatu 3 years ago 2
yes but if you use acoustic or jc clean you have to set it as loud as you can...
n1nja092 3 years ago
I found that useful, because I've wondered about the volume of the microcube. Good demo.
