@KSDG84 it is the time it takes for the monitor to respond to the input in mili seconds. The lower the better since it shows things more direct. :) 5ms is fast enough for gaming but it might be that your monitor has a defect where it does not reach that speed
Looks great! I have a single GTX 590 which is an amazing card however I was thinking of getting 3 more cards. Has anyone heard of 4 GTX 590s together?
@elimar48 um... Read/write speed ONLY affects loading times from area to area. It has nothing at all to do with FPS in game as im roaming/fighting in an already loaded area. And ontop of that i have SWTOR on my ssd with windows just because its what i play most and i wanted faster load times in between flying and changing maps/planets. 7200rpm storage drives for games etc, only see affects of lower frame from ssds by 1-2fps. My bottleneck is the lack of chipset for quad sli with SB
@Jessescustompcs Well I wasn't talking about FPS bottlenecking, I was just talking about overall system performance as a whole; Faster Windows boot, faster data transfer, faster everything really.
I would imagine RAID'ed SSD's would be incredibly beneficial for a game like SW:TOR since its so demanding for content loading. (Think, Fleet->Spaceship->SpaceQuest->Ship->Planet->Ship, Each of these requiring a full-on loading screen) There is just SOOO much loading in this game compared to WoW.
@elimar48 Windows boots in 14 seconds. Im up and running after typing my password in after 3.71 seconds. Thats with internet and me being able to open/access any app that i have. Swore loading screens when i had this game on my storage driver were no longer than 5.5 seconds. And are only 3.4-4 seconds now with it on my SSD. No big difference and raiding would speed it up. But i wouldnt be cutting those times in half just taking off a second here and there.NBD for me as im not impatiant
How much would a compter like this cost alone? I'm looking for a computer atm that can run this game, and to also get rid of my laptop. I was hoping to squeez by with my computer specs to play swtor, but it didn't... :/ Would like a response! :D
@xxlonleyemoboyxx 1500 dollars to play it on a single monitor smoothly would be idea, max settings and all. I would shoot for 1600-1700 for future proof componants. The computer in the video here cost 5300 dollars roughly
@xxlonleyemoboyxx You can get a computer for under $900 to run this game at max settings. This guy has a computer that was made for multitasking so running games at high settings is nothing but as you can see when he fights the frames falter, and will probably worsen when he raids and pvp at these settings. Google cyberpc or Ibuypower they sell pretty standard gaming rigs at low cost for already built pcs.
@MrGkid5000 Actually the reason why that zone the fps dropped was from all the trees and grass... Editing a video now of warzones and raids that never drop below 100fps. Cyberpc has a rig on their main page with 400 dollars worth of components for 920 dollars... Just an FYI, and 1500 dollars has nothing to do with me building it. I was simply recommending spending around 1500 dollars. As gtx 450s and 460s have a hard time running this game at max settings.
@MrGkid5000 Im here to save people money, when you buy from company's like that you are paying for 45% of product and the rest of the money goes to thin air. Its ridiculous what they charge people.
@Jessescustompcs Computer building companies like Ibuypower and cyberpc only charge you an extra 5% for their Manual installation, and production. I am not saying your rig isn't efficient for its cost it is, I am only saying that you can get a pc to play these games at high settings with no screen buffer for cheaper.
@MrGkid5000 I've been looking throguh Cyberpc. Been looking at the Gamer Ultra GUA108 Desktop Computer. A little over my price range, but think I can manage saving up a couple hundred to get it. Thanks for the tips, going to browse around Ibuypower and see what they have (: Thanks again.
@Jessescustompcs Awesome. I'd like to see it just cause its a foreign sight to me. Its a PowerPoint for me, and Im running an AMD Phenom Quad Core, 4GB mem, and an Nvidia GTX 275. I get 1.2-3fps in warzones, 5-10 outside world. 25 if Im in a cantina by myself.
I'd love to see what its actually supposed to look like!
@oLACHESISo I do not use special glasses but have been thinking about trying them as i do have to wear glasses in my day to day life.
You have to take into consideration that quility even with a full 1080P camera is DRASTICALLY cut from what you see on the screens. The late response time is from the camera having a hard time adjusting to the fact that the right monitor is further away from my camara than the left and middle. Takes more time to process.
@oLACHESISo The are all the same exact monitor and when actually using them in real life they are spot on accurate and synced up appropriately, unless you are talking about when i save a resolution and the screens have to reset thats just random lag from the monitors having to go through the VGA, HDMI, and DVI ports selection. Has nothing to do with response time or the rig its self. Never ever watched a single LOTR movie. And not at all, i can game for hours, just have to get used.
talking about real life, you won't see a tauren or a night elf running through your 'real life' ...WoW is just exactly the same, just this game has another theme (Star Wars)... If you like SW this is a great game, but if you think that SW completely such (like me) it may be a great game, but I won't like it... and rather still go play WoW cuz I like that way more.
@MrAapenkind Your spelling and grammar is the true fail here. I do photoshop as well as alot of Adobe 3d work. Having more Ram is essential for these tasks. Dont get ahead of yourself and think i only use this computer for one thing.
@MrAapenkind You can never have too much RAM, my specs Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Memory: 16384MB RAM (16GB) Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6970 (Crossfire) Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Motherboard: Crosshair V Formula and about 5TB of HDD space spanning across 4 HDD's I want 32GB of RAM though....:'(
@r00kies021 the 2700k is the same exact chip, just higher stock clocks. Why would I spend my money on a remarked 2600k chip. And ivy bridge is just around the corner for 1155 sockets.
i want to play swtor sooo bad but my computer when i log in i put everything to low and it still laged and i couldn't do anything what do you think i need i a new graphic card then a prosesser i have 4g ram and 500g hardrive and i have 300g room after downloading the game can you help me out
Microstuttering happens a lot when there's lots of grass/shadow textures in SWTOR :( I'm on quad SLI 590s too in 6000x1080 Surround with Bezel.
Are you using the beta Geforce drivers? Just curious, how is WEI like for your rig. Mine registered 7.6 for my video cards... Without SLI, it was 7.9.. Weird huh?
@Jessescustompcs unfortunatly 600hz plasmas are atleast 40" and some plasmas suffer from burn in so if you don't have a constantly moving image becareful

Jessescustompcs 1 month ago
@Jessescustompcs Well I wasn't talking about FPS bottlenecking, I was just talking about overall system performance as a whole; Faster Windows boot, faster data transfer, faster everything really.
I would imagine RAID'ed SSD's would be incredibly beneficial for a game like SW:TOR since its so demanding for content loading. (Think, Fleet->Spaceship->SpaceQuest->Ship->Planet->Ship, Each of these requiring a full-on loading screen) There is just SOOO much loading in this game compared to WoW.
elimar48 1 month ago

xxlonleyemoboyxx 1 month ago
@xxlonleyemoboyxx 1500 dollars to play it on a single monitor smoothly would be idea, max settings and all. I would shoot for 1600-1700 for future proof componants. The computer in the video here cost 5300 dollars roughly
Jessescustompcs 1 month ago
@xxlonleyemoboyxx You can get a computer for under $900 to run this game at max settings. This guy has a computer that was made for multitasking so running games at high settings is nothing but as you can see when he fights the frames falter, and will probably worsen when he raids and pvp at these settings. Google cyberpc or Ibuypower they sell pretty standard gaming rigs at low cost for already built pcs.
MrGkid5000 1 month ago
@MrGkid5000 Actually the reason why that zone the fps dropped was from all the trees and grass... Editing a video now of warzones and raids that never drop below 100fps. Cyberpc has a rig on their main page with 400 dollars worth of components for 920 dollars... Just an FYI, and 1500 dollars has nothing to do with me building it. I was simply recommending spending around 1500 dollars. As gtx 450s and 460s have a hard time running this game at max settings.
Jessescustompcs 1 month ago
@MrGkid5000 Im here to save people money, when you buy from company's like that you are paying for 45% of product and the rest of the money goes to thin air. Its ridiculous what they charge people.
Jessescustompcs 1 month ago
@Jessescustompcs Computer building companies like Ibuypower and cyberpc only charge you an extra 5% for their Manual installation, and production. I am not saying your rig isn't efficient for its cost it is, I am only saying that you can get a pc to play these games at high settings with no screen buffer for cheaper.
MrGkid5000 1 month ago
@MrGkid5000 I've been looking throguh Cyberpc. Been looking at the Gamer Ultra GUA108 Desktop Computer. A little over my price range, but think I can manage saving up a couple hundred to get it. Thanks for the tips, going to browse around Ibuypower and see what they have (: Thanks again.

I'd like to see a video of you running high FPS in a Warzone...
elimar48 1 month ago
@elimar48 I can do that for you. But if you are emplying that it lags. It never drops below 65fps in a warzon maxed out of course.
Jessescustompcs 1 month ago
@Jessescustompcs Awesome. I'd like to see it just cause its a foreign sight to me. Its a PowerPoint for me, and Im running an AMD Phenom Quad Core, 4GB mem, and an Nvidia GTX 275. I get 1.2-3fps in warzones, 5-10 outside world. 25 if Im in a cantina by myself.
I'd love to see what its actually supposed to look like!

1. Are you using Gunnar Optics ?
2. What is so special about ms response on a monitor?
3. I believe the 1st monitor (the one on the left) is off a little.
4. Are you a LOTR fan?
5. Do your eyes ever hurt from playing?
oLACHESISo 1 month ago
@oLACHESISo I do not use special glasses but have been thinking about trying them as i do have to wear glasses in my day to day life.
You have to take into consideration that quility even with a full 1080P camera is DRASTICALLY cut from what you see on the screens. The late response time is from the camera having a hard time adjusting to the fact that the right monitor is further away from my camara than the left and middle. Takes more time to process.
Jessescustompcs 1 month ago
@oLACHESISo The are all the same exact monitor and when actually using them in real life they are spot on accurate and synced up appropriately, unless you are talking about when i save a resolution and the screens have to reset thats just random lag from the monitors having to go through the VGA, HDMI, and DVI ports selection. Has nothing to do with response time or the rig its self. Never ever watched a single LOTR movie. And not at all, i can game for hours, just have to get used.
Jessescustompcs 1 month ago
talking about real life, you won't see a tauren or a night elf running through your 'real life' ...WoW is just exactly the same, just this game has another theme (Star Wars)... If you like SW this is a great game, but if you think that SW completely such (like me) it may be a great game, but I won't like it... and rather still go play WoW cuz I like that way more.

My PC was only around $1100 and I get 70-100 FPS in SWTOR O.o
Kind of overkill bro :/
TheFenastus 1 month ago
@TheFenastus 3 screens is a lot more difficult to run with the insane resolution.

@Jessescustompcs Indeed, and especually as buggy game as SWTOR.

@MrAapenkind Your spelling and grammar is the true fail here. I do photoshop as well as alot of Adobe 3d work. Having more Ram is essential for these tasks. Dont get ahead of yourself and think i only use this computer for one thing.

dude why not change it to i7 2700k or 3960x?
r00kies021 1 month ago
@r00kies021 the 2700k is the same exact chip, just higher stock clocks. Why would I spend my money on a remarked 2600k chip. And ivy bridge is just around the corner for 1155 sockets.

Hey, I'm just wondering but how did you get sponsored by those companies to build that computer?

Microstuttering happens a lot when there's lots of grass/shadow textures in SWTOR :( I'm on quad SLI 590s too in 6000x1080 Surround with Bezel.
Are you using the beta Geforce drivers? Just curious, how is WEI like for your rig. Mine registered 7.6 for my video cards... Without SLI, it was 7.9.. Weird huh?

@Ri1seAgainst That awkward moment when somebody makes a silly comment before doing research...
Jessescustompcs 2 months ago
@Jessescustompcs before doing research? you have 5ms monitors so first research GHOSTING
Ri1seAgainst 2 months ago
@Ri1seAgainst I was going towards the fact that THEY ARE 120HZ MONITORS. LOL
Jessescustompcs 2 months ago
@Ri1seAgainst I thought 120hz were better? But I heard it gives u head aches. Plus your eye cant see past 60fps? True or no?
TheKurdeXx 2 months ago
@TheKurdeXx the eye see's smoothly @ 25fps but displaying 120fps will display more frames and the game will look smoother
Ri1seAgainst 2 months ago
@Ri1seAgainst Again, they are 120hz monitors. Need me to feed it to you?
Jessescustompcs 2 months ago
@Jessescustompcs you said 60hz on vid....
Ri1seAgainst 2 months ago
@Ri1seAgainst No... no i did not, watch again bro, i said the brand/type/contrast ratio/response time. Thats it, never did i say they were 60hz.
Jessescustompcs 2 months ago
@TheKurdeXx True, but the only difference you see is stepping up to plasma and pitching 60hz against 600hz
Jessescustompcs 2 months ago
@Jessescustompcs unfortunatly 600hz plasmas are atleast 40" and some plasmas suffer from burn in so if you don't have a constantly moving image becareful
