yeah because BCR and Blink were established in a genre. Not so much blink but they pioneered the genre. AVA are like a Pop punk super group but playing epic, deep songs. I don't disagree with you, but I don't really think angels and airwaves is pop-punk.

For example, blink has the label pop-punk cause of their earlier stuff, but if you think about it, they're only pop-punk because that's what they're called. I mean also i guess you could argue that at shows they still yell about masturbation and such.
