  • I did this workout before, truthfully all it takes is the proper rest and a little food in you and if you have the time no reason you couldn't easily finish this workout with a little perserverence

  • It takes me roughly 3 minutes to crank out 100 situps minus 15 second rest periods. That's 4:00 flat. 4:00 out of a 24 hour day. I could see his system working easily if he did across an entire day, which is what he's saying in so many words with "during commercials." He's sitting on his ass watching TV. Commercial starts, he starts. Commercial ends, he ends. Try it.

  • So basically, Walker became monstrously physical without book knowledge. Just the most basic bodyweight routines religiously & look where he is.

    It's true. You don't need a fancy workout design or machines to achieve functional strength. Machines & most utilities in the gym fit more cosmetic goals than power. Machines provide comparably poor potential for realistic work.

  • @Efferts Say he watches TV for 15 hours a day (already a wtf moment), 1/3 of that time is spent watching commercials. So 5 hours of commercials a day is 300 minutes or 18000 seconds. He did 7500 reps a day total. So that means he did a rep every 2.4 seconds for 15 hours of watching TV... so he was busting out 60 reps a commercial and was ready to pump out another 60 reps by the next commercial. Let's not even mention he had to eat like a fucking horse with that many reps.

  • @majesticlamb One would think with that much reps that you'd have to eat a lot, but Herschel only eats one meal a day...as a vegetarian. And he only sleeps 4hrs a night. Wouldn't recommend everybody else to start doing that, though, everyone's body is different.

  • @gaddylh I think the point Herschel was making that push ups alone can take a lot out of you. Some use push ups as a primary source of their overall workout regimen. Others use push ups as a supplemental workout, in addition to the weight training and other forms of exercises they may undertake. But 1000 to 2000 push ups a day can be a sufficient enough workout for anyone.

  • I believe that too high and unrealistic expections were put upon him coming out of college. That trade was REALLY stupid for Minnesota. It set them back a few years. I hope Hersh does well in MMA. I'm so sick of people putting limitations on others for whatever reason mainly because of ignorance and that they can't do it themselves.
