This was a great fight. Imam throew more punches than anything else, which is the least scoring attack. After watching it, you can agree with the judges, that Jacob deserved the win. Imam was the agressor the whole fight, but last round he just walked into jacobs straight knees over and over again.
Hey man, it's Adam (from your gym class...lawls) you were right your friend really was trying to knock you out in the beginning! haha though i can even tell when he started dropping his hands more at around 5:20 you were holding back some. both of you guys look really strong keep it up. great fight (aside form the ..background commentary...)
It was an enjoyable fight to watch! I grade matches like this all the time and though he did have a fair number of good hits the first round, Jacob totally dominated the fight from the second round on to the last hit. I hope to fight you sometime soon, Jacob (maybe this Tuesday). Great fight! Keep up the training and good luck with all future battles both in and out of the ring.
The judges (all pro fighters) were at ring side at I believe it was a unanimous decision. As for haymakers thanks for overestimating the strength of my punches, I didn't throw one haymaker, Imam is a friend of mine and a good fighter. I wasn't trying to knock him out just wanted to have a good fight and I thought it was!
I'll be honest, after watching the fight a few times, I was like "WTF, how did I lose?" But lately, I've been watching it and I only won 1st round and part of 2nd Round. Everything else was all his, so that's a totally fair decision.
