The Quioto Protocol failed miserably... They made a deal between rich countries (some of them, like USA and Australia, didn't even made what they were suppose to or didnt sign in) and they tottally forgot about Development countries such as China or India. How are those and other countries suppose to get ou of misery without the power of oil? You can't revive a country relying on the power of renewable sources, it's just not gonna do it......

Iceland is amazing. I was there in summer. :D Atleast this place is not that affected by shit, we are doing. We have to save our planet for sure, our mission here is not to destroy this place. We somehow have to change the way of our living...

Indeed, we need to think more logically and hopefully it will come in more advanced civilisation. Using up less land and being more entwined with nature would benit not just the planet but our health as well. Less pollution with greener energies is a key change and preserving rainforests and woodlands for a huge biodiversity with lots of insect life would promote more organic food and plants. As sapient beings we have to observe and reserve the world not destroy it.

A resource based economy would work if we lived on colonies in space and having small economies of money distributed between closer colonies.

i've watched this film 3 times. we have to do more, than love our planet. we have to save it, terraform and colonize nearby planets to survive.

ordinary people do a lot. recycling, sun power houses, water savings, water recycling,..., use gas at it's minimum- at least me & some others

but when we try to be friendly 2 nature, there are corporations that don't care. and our savings means more usage for them. sadly.

As a race we need to think about exactly what you said recylcing is the key, grenner energy and living closer to cities and not threatening nature is what we must do. Colonising other planets in our solar system is also the next big step, and as you also said greedy corporations are the downfall of the planet maybe we should knock some sense into them.
