  • The best thing about this porn film is just that- its a film, a real movie with plot, and acting and best of all- it actually has a moral. Its a "naughty" film with a feel-good vibe (pun unintended).

    I just loved it! I'm a film-buff female who HATES the whole fakeness of the porn industry. I only watch vintage stuff with real fibre to it.

    This is one of the greats! God I wish I could have lived in the 70s. Best animation, best music, best porn.

  • To reflect how truly different America was in 1979, consider that this film was a GENERAL THEATRICAL RELEASE - it played at all of the same theaters that showed regular mainstream movies. Also, the fact that this only received an "R" rating is astounding by today's puritanical standards. Then there's the issue of it being based on a children's book in which the main character is supposed to be underage (even though she wasn't in this film.) Not very long ago for such a radically different view.

  • It was rated X (and there was a XXX version, too) back in 1976, but Fox cut it to make it rated R. The R and X versions were released on VHS, but now only the X/XXX versions are available (on a dvd that's no longer in print either).

    Kristine De Bell was suppose to star in an adult version of The Wizzard Of Oz but the movie was never made. I wish it was made.

  • It was rated X back in the 70s. There was the X and XXX versions (both on the dvd), but X-rated then is not the same as X-rated now. The XXX version is now X.

    Things change. Porn these days mean all sex and no plot. And this has as much sex as an R-rated film.
