  • M2 U M2 U2 M2 U M2 for the 4 edges, much easier! :D

  • Comment removed

  • tis video (and the one about oll) was very helpful, i will write down these algorithms asap! i learnt f2l from 'memyselfandpi' and in his oll and pll vids it just said to go to a website. THANKS :D

  • tnx!! it help me alot... by the way im jeff from the Philippines.... i was a beginners of rubiks. tnx.

  • Is it me or is this video way too dark?

  • This is great! I'd turned from like 1 minute and 30 seconds with the beginner method to 35-40 seconds with this method! Awesome, thanks!!

  • aren't these algorithms for the beginners method too?

  • @sneakylie thats exactly wat i was thinking!!!!

  • When I saw this I was confused cus I thought I was PLL as in Pretty Little Liars!

  • you help me thanks:DD,i forgot this step good thing i found your video thanks again,i subs.:DD

  • Huh. This version of PLL is also way easier. Thanks! The one I watched before taught you to hold the solved side on the right when you're moving the edge pieces, but then the algorithm had no pattern whatsoever. This is way better!

  • Dude, you are my effin hero, thanks so much for these OLL and PLL vids, you're the best.

  • man thank you a lot i learned a lot from your tutorials of OLL and PLL now i ll learn it well and start getting my times better

  • Hey i did the clockwise edge switcher and my corners and edges are both correct but they are in different spots. like if yellow faces me, then i see a yellow edge and two red corners... Why??? please helpp

  • Excuse me, but this is 2-look PLL. Please say that that's what you're teaching in the title, so people who are looking for PLL tutorials won't run into this.

    Thanks for the video though.

  • Imo these algs are useless and not that good, there is some better listed on websites and imo they are way easier to learn and shorter aswell.

  • did acer like pay you to advertise

  • lol this doesn't work i tried over 20 times cus there are alot of cases not just 1 but the oll you made works :D

  • thanks you it help

    5*

    Ill subscribe

  • what if after the edge switcher, i have 2 piece opposite of each other that needs to be switched? so last layer i have 2 sides solved and 2 sides w ith 1 edge piece that needse to be on the other side

  • @m83040811 There's something wrong with that. There are no algorithms to just switch two opposite edges without also changing other pieces. It's likely that you (or someone else) did not put the pieces correctly back together after taking it apart.

  • @m83040811 just to the OLL right side algorithm... then itll be normal

  • Sweet man! Thanks a million dude!

  • thnx it helped vewy much

  • good job dude. the little names you have for them help me remember what to do.. it's just the way some brains work.

  • thanks for the trick

  • Hey, I've mastered the beginners method, and I'm pretty quick, but I don't get how this method is supposed to speed my time up!? it just looks like a load more algorithims that can be solved pretty quickly using the traditional method...or do i just not get it... ;)

  • @bennyharmer when you'll get used to it it'll be like magic, as soon as your fingers start to memorize the moves it'll all become intuitive and you wont have to do as many moves, then you'll start noticing cool results.

  • You just don't get it :D

  • thanx. love it

  • oh thanks for the enlightenment man...

  • you may revise the al'gs in your video coz what youre saying doesnt match with your movements. like F2 and you move Fi2. or B2 but you moved Bi2. made me so confused. nice vidz anywayz

  • F2 or Fi2 is the same thing.. they are spinning 180 degrees..

  • @lbordallo yeah maybe but it dosent change anything cuz B2 and B2' (or Bi2 as you may call it) is the same thing one way or another you end up turning the layer 180° in one direction or the other...and it also depends if you feel more confortable turning it clock-wise or counter-clock-wise, personnaly i do it clockwise cause im faster with my right hand (faster fingers, more precise)

  • Where did you get your rubix cube

  • Good shit bro...thanks alot

  • but i did it when i was 10

  • i solved one of these once and i had no idea how i did it o_o im 12....

  • you break down the steps so well. TYVM!!!!!

If you have time can you post a F2L tutorial. The other tuts are just too confusing.

  • hahahaha thank you so much!!!!

  • what if you dont any two corner pieces that r the same color?

and the top layer is the same color and the 1st two layers are all good, what do u do?

  • As I said in the video, you do the algorithm R' F R' B2 R F' R' B2 R2; it does not matter which side faces away from you or toward you. After doing the algorithm once, you should have a pair of corners. Simply repeat the algorithm with the pair of corners facing away from you and then move onto the next step.

  • Facing any side, use the corner switcher algorithm R' F R' B2 R F' R' B2 R2

From there, you should have two corner pieces of the same color on one side. Simply repeat the algorithm with the two corners facing away from you in order to continue.

  • thanks mate

  • hahaha i remember now..

  • hahaha i rember now

  • ugh.....i watched your video and it messed me up.

  • Whenever i do the CW/CCW it always just switches. For example, i need to go clockwise, i do the algorithm, and i then need to do it CCW

  • i actually solved the cube, thank you

  • i also did this in begginers

  • wtf rule man!!!! THX ALOT I FINALY UNDERSTAND THE METHOD LER

I AM GANNA SUB AND RATE U!!!!

  • lol im always using the beginner method! i really wanna to learn how to do this.

with the beginner method, my fastest time is 1:19!

i might be able to improve my time if i know how to do the fridrich method well!!

  • thanks man!!! you really helped

  • nice tutorial. i think an easier alg to use for the CW edge rotation is R2 U R U R' U' R' U' R' U R' that way u dont have to waste time regripping.

  • this helps a lot. though i use a different "corner switcher"

  • This is a basic tutorial video. I'm well aware of the algorithms for the J and Z perm. I'm trying to help people who are new to this method and tried to make it as simple as possible without the excessive memorization of algorithms.

  • when i do it again, i dont have to same-color corner pieces on the same side ://

  • HOLY SCHNAPS! i just solved this suckah! Hehehee..

  • ive memorized all of these beginner fridrich algorithms but im 20 seconds slower than when i do beg method. how long do you think it will take me to master them and get faster??

  • I can't really say, because it's different for everyone. Don't let the increase in times discourage you from continuing this method. I remember when I first learned this, it cause my times to increase by 30+ seconds. It just takes some practice, then you'll be glad you switched.

  • thanks. i actually just got 47 seconds. which is my fastest but my average is around 1:07 with it.

  • Dude this was the best tutorial for PLL I've ever seen! Extremely nice job.

  • i dont say this often but nice tutorial

  • i have no idea why people say it takes them like....6 months to a year to learn these methods....it took me 10 minutes XD

  • i learned OLL in like....10 minutes XD

i wonder how long PLL is going to take...i probably already know this one too

  • Very detailed video. Very helpful

  • GREAT VIDEO! THANKS

  • dude i don't have two corners of the same color on one side what do i do?

  • As I have said in the video, just perform the algorithm R' F R' B2 R F' R' B2 R2. You do not need to worry about what side you are facing, just perform the algorithm and you should have a pair of corners.

  • can baby oil make your cube move smoothly

  • I have no idea; I have never tried.

  • i dont know about baby oil, but petrolium jelly helps it move a lot smoother and faster

  • dont use petrolium(vasaline). It works great for a little while but after a few weeks ur cube will melt. There will be little bits of ur cube coming off on the inside and it will become very hard to turn. Too many cubes have been lost to petrolium jelly.

  • OMG MAPLE FTW!! and thanks I never knew you had to learn PLL before OLL I though when yo do PLL you solve the top layer. Thanks

  • You have to learn OLL before you learn PLL o_O

  • Thanks A MILLION. This Was an awesome tutorial!!!

  • nice how long does it take to remember these algorithms?

  • dude what is ur best time in solving a cubes?

  • cool man...

i just want to ask how to form that top layer to have the same color....thnx!!!!

  • I have another tutorial video called "Beginner's OLL." That video teaches you how to get the top layer to be a solid color.

  • tnx dude..

i just dont know the name of the pattern..

    im too slow solving cubes..

  • awesome again thanks! and what do you mean in the info that you dont use the algorithms? do you mean that like you memorized them and dont have to think about it anymore?

  • thanks so much! finally i know what ppl say when they talk about PLL!

  • i hope this algo works...

  • Thanks man!!! you rock!!I finally understand how to do the pll method. 5 stars for you!!!

  • um, um, um ah, umah...

  • The OLL and PLL videos helped so much, thank you

  • i got the top colour Yellow.. but i dont see any corners with the same colour 0.o

    plzz Help !

  • thanks man.

  • this is such a nice vid....its much easier...the fish>>!!^^

  • 5***** Best video on youtube :)

  • if there are no corner pieces? what should i do?

  • Do the algo. and look for a pair, then follow the video.

P.S. Mentioned in the video somewhere.

  • Hey the corner switcher doesnt work for me i follow what you did... is there a certain position to put where the correct corners are? I put it so its align and put at the back of the cube and did your algorithm.

  • Thanks mate! Both your oll and pll videos have helped me so much!! the best ones on youtube!!!!!!!!!! =D

  • good vid I was trying to find a good video for the last layer of Fridrich Last layer so I can understand it and this is the one Thanx

  • thank u soooooooooo much, this is the best tutorial ever!!! its so much easier than other tutorials!!!!!

  • R' U L U' R U L' U' is easier. No Doubles and no back turns.

  • lawl thx i hate back turns @____@

  • thanks, this will help greatly.

  • omfg finally a good tutorial thx i was confused but it is all clear know thx

  • it really made sense to me thanks for the tutorial.

  • dude, NICE tutorial. that really helped me and shaved a couple seconds off my average cube solve! AWESOME

  • THANKX !

  • isnt it B2' ?

  • -.-' lame

  • Double layer turns, as in U2, B2, and R2, do not need to have the prime symbol because you can turn it whichever way you want. Why make it B2' when it's easier to just say B2.

  • B2' is the same as B2

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH! now im a pro thanks to your help. you rock!

  • omg lol i just figered out iv been doing the fedritch method all along lol i thouhgt i was doing some other method

  • btw way dude the 3 corner flip u use is way easyer if u hold cube with bottom tward u

  • I did OLL but I do not have two corners of the same colour on the same face.

  • u must have rearranged the cube wrong when it popped.

  • I have two CW and two CCW

  • thanks man!!!

    ^_^

    learned form your 2 vids!!!

    keep up the good work!!!

  • best cubing tut ive ever seen!!! You should win a youtube award not Pogobat.

  • damn this vid was so helpful!!! clear and easy! thanks a lot!!!

  • bro you make the best tuto ever. people should now

  • best pll tutorial video!!

  • sooooo useful! way easier to understand than any other PLL vid ive seen

  • most understandable and easy to learn video

    thank you.

BEST VIDEO FOR PLL LAST LAYER SOLVE!

  • good shit this is tha best pll video ive wathed

  • 5 starts, this and your oll vid both explained it the best.

  • For the counterclockwise, there's also R U` R U R U R U` R` U` R2. And for clockwise there's R` U R` U` R` U` R` U R U R2. Also, I know that you said this was a beginner's video but it would have been nice to put in the z-series. By the way, were you reading off a paper because no offense but that's what it sounded like in the background.

  • Yeah, the z-series are easy to memorize. (At least for me)

  • For the z-series did you learn R B' R' B F R' F B' R' B R F2 U or did you learn the two-gender version of the algorithm with Rs and Us?

  • shit dude this looks way harder than the way i learned

  • dude...that helped so much i learned the fridrech the PLL and the oll method all in two days dud thank you you are the best

  • i have that pc xD

    nice vid, thanks

  • thankz bro... :D

  • tnk you for this video..NOw I can solve my cuBe less than a minUte...

  • how's that if the bottom layer is not solved..??pls..reply..^^

  • If the bottom layer isn't solved....do the bottom layer! :D

  • Great vid. Thx
