the 3rd one works because water naturally has a high surface tension, therfore (when he said offcenter, theres about a milimeter gap) the water won't fall through, when you blow, it creates a vaccum which sucks it through the gap into the bottom glass.

Hi, okay i must be stupid because i dont get the objective of the 1st trick. The 2nd trick i dont get at all since i dont see the 3rd straw- how the hell does it stay stiff and in tact after lifting all the straws with the 4th straw

the objective of any trick is simply to get free drinks. in the first trick you have to trick your friend into drinking the shot thus making him unable to spit it back into the shotglass and losing the bet. now your friend has to buy the drinks!!! for the second trick, i dont think the 4th straw would bend very much since all it is lifting is other straws (straws dont weigh much these days.) also, the third trick is pretty good, props to the creator.
