My best friend had to force his daughter to use CI... His marriage failed and his ex-wife didn't want to lose the kids (because of child support). @freedomdances The mediator wants my son to agree to keep the CIs on ALL her waking hours. He didn't understand when he agreed in court because his attorney didn't have an interpreter to talk to him. OH...there were interpreters in the court room, but his attorney didn't have a private interpreter to ask him or advise him. Please, I don't want to continue but the only way I can stop right now is for the mom not to let us have visitation!

I am curious ... has anyone (parent, friend, counsellor) really talked to this girl and found out the real reason she is refusing to wear the CI? The videos show the girl's anger about wearing them but it is not clear why she is so angry. Seems to me it might be her way of trying to feel some sort of control in her family situation which she feels is out of control and confusing for her.
@itsmedh Today my son went and got her on his motorcycle. The mom found out and texted him that she was going to call the police. (She thinks it is illegal to have a child on a motorcycle. It isn't. When his daughter got to my sister's she put the CIs on fine Both- no problem. I think the audiologist finally got them mapped correctly. But I still think she should have the choice when to wear them!
I felt so bad for her. She seems so frustrating & hate it. I just hope that her father won't have to go to the court just because she hates them. That's outrageous stupid....
@left0vercrizakk The mom claims she got them remapped in late Feb or early March. She put them on fine after my son picked her up on his motorcycle and she'd had a helmet on. Maybe she won't have trouble from now on! But she should still be able to choose.
