I wondered _why_ she sang this song, Googled, and found the answer. Although several entertainment news sites reported her singing the song and Hugh Jackman's reaction, only a few offered a reason as to why.

Seems Hugh was to sing a duet with Anne and at the last minute backed out. She decided to go ahead and sing _something_ and so sang this.

Anne is multi-talented! She can do just about anything. She was a great hostess at the Oscars. Quite frankly, if she came on stage and said nothing for 3 1/2 hours, red blooded males all over the world (and some females) would be drooling in front of their TV sets.
