Depeche Mode and U2 are my top two fave bands, I adore them both but probably like Depeche Mode a little more than U2... HOWEVER... you people really need to stop comparing this particular DM performance to the U2 performance earlier in the evening because U2 were playing live whereas DM are not; Dave is lip-synching and the band are playing over the prerecorded album track. DM are unrivaled and unparalleled live... however at the 2009 Echo Awards DM were not live, U2 were.

Cuando estan las pantallas encendidas y se ve la silueta de Bono, me recuerda los tiempos de The Fly....uhhh! es lo mejor!

Despues de mirar estas dos actuaciones, me doy cuenta que DEPECHE MODE es muy superior a U2, me atreveria a decir que U2 esta muy sobrevalorado, musicalmente hablando no tiene nada especial, es más el show y la parafernalia.

Tal vez tengas razon con respecto a que DM es mejor que U2 (no superior), pero lamentablemente DM no es tan conocido como ellos.(Bueno, depende a quien le preguntes si lo conoce o no)Acerca de que "es más el show ", debo mencionar que ellos siempre hacen este tipo de espectaculos -tenemos como ejemplo el ZOO TV Tour . @larryfinebono Gracias por tú opinion y hacerme caer en cuenta, en mi comentario anterior no fui muy objetivo y me dejé llevar por mi pasion hacia depeche Mode, tanto U2 como depeche Mode son dos super bandas, afortunadamente todavia estan vigentes y nos deleitan, lo que si noto es que depeche Mode es mas accequible, lo menciono porque no tuvo reparos en presentarse en Colombia, cosa que U2, creo que vá a ser imposible que se presente por estos lares, saludos!

@larryfinebono concuerdo contigo, de hecho para ser sincero DM es mi banda favorita, pero U2 me gusta bastante, tienes razon al decir que U2 tuvo su mayor esplendor en los 90s con sus maravillosos espectaculos ZOO TV y POP. Francamente lo que hoy hace U2 me parece aburrido y seria increible que regresara the fly y macphisto, pero lo veo imposible. para terminar, incluso lo que anda haciendo DM ultimamente ya no me atrae como antes.

I agree. Even in the US, concerts are sold out. I'm going on August 3rd to Madison Square Garden New York. It's sold out. They put up another concert the day after to get even more money. It's amazing. Depeche Mode can easily beat U2. U2 can easily beat Depeche. They're almost equally popular just at different times. Thank you for the comment on the Ting Ting person. ;P
